Sure, there were other boutiques open...but those that were in operation could be very pricey at times. This was before the days of Forever 21, of course. I immediately loved this place. For numerous reasons. The selection and stock offered by Trendy Chicks was great. Funky, glam and hip...styles to fit every type of personaity. The clothing is of good quality, and unique. They have everything from dresses, skirts, jeans to accessories like jewelry, purses, sunglasses, etc. You don't have to worry about seeing your dress or top on everyone else when you go out, etc. I also really value the service/care you recieve when shopping at the boutique. The owner is often there, and she is very personable and friendly. I always find something I can't live without when I stop by. Precious little trinkets and darling kitten (and octopus!) scissors. Tiny little buttons perfect for little baby sweaters. Everyone shopping seemed to know and love the affable owner who gave sage stitching advice and directed each person to exactly what they needed and then some! The best part is that if you cannot make it to the shop you can shop at her Etsy shop! Do not pass up the vintage beaded Christmas tree or cross kits. Very retro and cute!
