The second was to move some of their stuff in Georgia to my place in Kansas City. And this most recent was to help me rearrange my furniture around their furniture and ditch an old mattress. Every single time, the guys have been efficient, careful, thoughtful, and incredibly polite. Each of these moves has involved old, kind of fragile, really meaningful family furniture, and it has always gotten where it needs to go in perfect condition. I could not recommend these guys more highly.

I carefully prepared by packing additional boxes, labeling everything clearly, and organizing where items should go in the new apartment. About three hours into the move, the crew said the truck was full and left a large amount of my belongings behind at the original house. When we arrived at the apartment, the movers damaged the floor in the entryway and initially denied responsibility even after I showed them photos of the condition beforehand. The service advertised as "white glove" was never delivered. Items removed from walls were not rehung, furniture was not fully set up, and much of the crew stood around waiting for payment while the job remained incomplete. To make matters worse, I paid over $2,000, and the company ultimately refused to return to finish the job. I was left with three truckloads of my belongings still at the house, which I then had to move myself. The movers themselves were polite, but the planning, coordination, and follow-through from management were extremely disappointing. I expected professional service and instead experienced property damage and an incomplete move.

My time is no more or less valuable than others but if I make an appt, I don't want to be blown off. I call at 4:00 and the first thing they want to do is reschedule me. I'd already taken time off! They said they'd get back to me with an ETA and I didn't get anything. They really didn't seem to care so I guess they won't care about my honest review. It's not like I was asking for same day service. Professionals don't do this. If there's a problem, a professional will call you and make you aware of the problem. They didn't call. I had to call them and when they told me they'd put me on the schedule first thing the following day, I said NO! I waited 5 hours before I called. I've called another company and I'll edit this review after the work is completed. The MOORES DOORS COMPANY HAS NO PROBLEMS WASTING YOUR TIME SO DON'T LET THEM. Don't do business with people like these who don't care if they waste your time. There are better companies so use another company!

He showed up within the hour and fixed my door in an hour as well. I knew my torsion spring was broken but decided to take care of both while he was here. I explained that the door opener seemed to struggle some for the several months, but I was not sure the correct springs were installed by the builder. He looked at the springs and agreed that he had a larger spring that would make it easier for opener and last several thousand more openings. Mark was very quick, clean, and thorough through the whole process. He lubricated every single part on both my doors not just the one that was broken. He adjusted the chain on one opener. Then he literally adjusted every single hinge until the door was rolling smooth as ever and very little noise!! Would highly recommend him! Even heard him give out a competitors name and number to contact for someone who called out of his service area. Could have easily said he doesn't work in that area and been done.
