My family vacations on Madeline Island every year in the summer, and a few years ago my brother and I decided to start renting our own space. We have 24 people in our family (who come on vacation) and it gets a little crazy with everyone staying in one house. We rented a house not far from the center of town. It was really nice with a private drive, a screened in patio, two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a HUGE kitchen, a nice family room and satellite TV. It was an absolutely gorgeous, two-story traditional house in white. This place was giant; way too big for just two people. I think the house actually slept 8. Since then, we've been renting an apartment in downtown and it's much cozier. Madeline Island Rentals always makes sure we have a great time. They offer cleaning services just like staying in hotels, they take out the trash and recycling, and they make check out very easy. read more
