That's a deal-breaker, and the customers should get some money back. My group paid 500 total (100 each) to enter the caverns. The day trip is called "Sea Caves". If I wanted to go kayaking in just any old lake I don't think I should have to pay $100 to do it. It was just a disappointing experience and I don't think the cost of the weather should be passed on to the customer. Note: They do warn the customer of this before purchase but it doesn't make the policy any less inane. TL;DR - Staff 10/10. Weather interruption policy 1/10

The sheets felt like sleeping on an actual cloud and breakfast was particularly yummy. I only wish we had booked more time there---next time we come back, we will. For a 2 night stay, we were gifted 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator. The breakfast buffet was my biggest disappointment, for $240/night I was really looking forward to the breakfast and sadly really disappointed. It simply wasn't worth the price and I felt gypped. We had a double queen room on the first floor. The place is dated, and gives you a motel vibe. It wasn't the cleanest room I've stayed in, but it was a place to rest after a long day of driving. The water pressure was weak in the shower as well, but the water was hot! There is a coffee maker and fridge in the room. The furniture was a little mismatched and the lamp on the nightstand didn't work. They do offer complementary coffee and cocoa in the lobby. There is bottled water for sale along with tshirts and sweatshirts-which were actually cute! The best thing about the place was the view in the morning, grab your coffee and take a stroll along the water!

There are 3 - 4 rental units, all with living & sleeping areas and kitchenettes, and views of the lake. The owners were gracious, helpful, and respectful of guests' privacy. We stayed in one of the two "annex" suites, and enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning (and watching the moon rise in the evening), and reading at the picnic table along the small beachfront of the property. Great for a reasonably priced, quiet get-away where most of the noise came from the waves lapping on the beach, the wind (and windchimes), and birds.
