Sent my car in to get the brakes worked on and didn't receive a call with an estimate or a diagnosis on what needed to be done, just an invoice. Yup, they worked on it and sent me and invoice with no warning. I'm fortunate that I could afford the cost, but if I couldn't, I'm not sure how they would have managed. I also had zero opportunity to weigh in on how they addressed the brake issue. I called to address this afterwards and they rushed me off the phone. Definitely don't recommend. read more

Shady business practices. Good guys but charged me for hours not performed. Came in for work on my sons car. Family and friends recommended them. They changed out ball joints and control arms which too them no more than 3 hours total but charged me the estimated labor time the 'computer' said it should take but no way reflects the actual time. This is apparent because they didn't even list the actual work hours on the bill. Very dishonest way of doing business. If the work takes 3 hours, why should I pay for 5. Google ball joint replacement and most guys are done in 30 minutes. I wrench on cars and motorcycles myself but didn't have the tools for this job or I would have did it myself. Are you looking to wait endlessly for your car to be looked at?? Look no further folks!! This is the place for you!! I called to get an "appointment" for my car to be looked at because the check engine light came on and was told that I could wait on it. Brought it in the following day first thing in the morning. Upon bringing it in, I was told there were 5-6 cars in front of mine.... ok.... fine. FOUR HOURS LATER, there are now 7-8 cars in front of mine and they probably won't get to mine until tomorrow.... I drove 30 minutes and waited for 4 hours to hear this???? No thank you. I'll take my car to Tires Plus so they can tell me immediately what is wrong. My tire burst on I20. I made it to the nearest exit and found Madison Car Care on Google. They were so accommodating in a very stressful experience. They came and got me, put a spare tire on and prioritized installing my new tire once we go to their shop. they had me back on the road in about an hour and a half. My SUV broke down on I-20 late Sunday night while on a trip. Thankfully I found this shop thru Yelp. I was able to limp on in, and when they opened the next morning, they worked me in quickly. They would have had me out that morning except the problem required overnighting a part from Ford. But they helped me get to the nearby rental car agency. I was able to pick my truck up a couple days later. They did a good job at a very reasonable price. And during their test drive they alerted me to a couple other serious problems that needed attention once I got back home. Thanks John and team! read more

Terrible put in a bad fuel pump tried to say it was bad gas and they had to drop the tank and wanted to charge me $150 more I crawled under with a flashlight it was never dropped I asked the mechanic if it was dropped he said no...what? So the owner was lying right to my face...and still charged an extra $80....can you rip off!!!! read more

They have always treated us fairly and have great prices for service. There has been a time recently where they went above and beyond to help me. My car wouldn't start and I called them to try to diagnose the problem. They said they would get someone to come out (to my house, just a couple miles away) to check it out. I expected to wait an hour at least for someone to show, but within ten minutes a guy had shown up at the door to help. He helped me get the car started and requested that I follow him up to the shop so that they could do some further testing. I went up there and spent about a half hour waiting while they ran the gamut. Upon finding nothing wrong with the car they let me go free of charge for all that they did, including the house call. They are very friendly and professional, I would absolutely recommend this shop! read more

Owner John Moore and the staff of top rate mechanics are dependable and reliable. They will offer and/or seek affordable alternatives to expensive repairs. Even though they are a full service shop, they complete drop-in oil changes faster that oil change shops. They are truly interested in completing only work that needs to be done so you will never receive any "upsell". OK, so from my recent Dealership visit, the Madison Car Care findings on my Accord were inaccurate to say the least. I am a little unhappy with their inability to find the true problem with my car. This wasn't a huge issue to spot, but seem to be a little out of the ordinary. Still, I know that if I have a problem, I will return to them first- most likely- and give them a stab at it. They are close to my house, they are nice and friendly, and about certain issues are very knowledgeable. Don't hesitate for a second on whether or not to give them a shot at your problem! They just might fix it and get it done for cheaper than you could at the dealer! read more

I can't recommend Madison Car Care. I rode my moped out there today expecting to replace the tire on the back with a brand new one. I brought along the new tire I had ordered online and when I arrived they told me they couldn't help me. This wouldn't have shocked me except for the fact that they've done this work for me in the past. They recommended I ride with my flat tire to Athens, a 30 mile drive. I saw all the equipment necessary to do the job in the shop so it wasn't that they COULDN'T do the work it's just that they WOULDN'T. You would think in this economy people would take any work they could get. read more

Madison Car Care Inc. are great. I was returning back from a mandatory evacuation of Richmond Hill GA for hurricane Irma and my truck broke down south of Madison so I had it towed to the only car dealership the tow truck driver knew; Louie Herron Chrysler Dodge. I was staying in a Motel that cost $150/night, I called again and found out Louie Herron Chrysler Dodge had not even looked at my truck. I call my mechanic back home and let him know what happen to the truck. He advised it was not a big problem and should not take more than two hours to repair. I then checked the internet reviews for Louie Herron Chrysler Dodge and saw they were not highly recommended on performance and price. I call back at 3:00pm to see what had been done and they still had not even looked at my truck. I told them not to start on the truck and I would have it towed to Madison Car Care Inc. who got the truck towed to their shop and had it fixed the next day. The people at Madison Car Care Inc. were very professional and friendly and even picked me up from my hotel when the truck was repaired. read more
