The Duck Pond is our favorite go-to place when summer finally rolls around. We anticipate the return of the Mallards all year after the season ends, and typically plan 3-4 trips when it's back. My friends and I love having fun at the Duck Blind. For $41 we enjoy relaxing and enjoying all we can eat and drink - beer, burgers, brats, and of course, baseball. We're typically the rambunctious group heckling the players on the other team, and using the duck quackers (glow-in-the-dark ones are our favorite) to keep the fun going. I highly suggest catching a game to locals and out of towners, even if you're not a fan of the game, it's still an amazingly fun time, especially in the Duck Blind.

Going to a Mallards game in the Duck Blind at Warner Park has become a summer tradition for me and many others. When I was a kid I remember coming to many a Muskies game with my parents, but the crowds were always thin and no one was surprised when the Muskies and the subsequent teams folded. Now Warner Park is a family destination as well as a popular party location. For the last several years my company has held our summer outing here, tailgating in the parking lot before catching the game. There always seems to be a huge crowd on the weekends. The Mallards organization provides an atmosphere that was missing when I was a kid. Personally I love the game of baseball, with all of the intricacies of the pacing being a big part of the charm. However, I realize that I'm in the minority here, because most of my friends find it kind of boring. But the Mallards have really energized the park with the give-aways, the mascots, and all the other sideshows to the game. My opinion is that if you want to see baseball played in all of it's old fashioned glory, go to Wrigley. The Duck Blind is the place to be for most of the adults that didn't bring children to the game. For $25-35 it is all you can eat and drink in a sectioned-off area in the right field corner. The food is pretty decent but the real attraction is the beer. Led by local brewpub Great Dane's signature Mallards Ale, there is an excellent selection of beer. This is undoubtedly why a lot of people attend, but it leads to a very festive atmosphere that is always a good time. The only people not enjoying the Duck Blind are usually the opposing team's relief pitchers, since their bullpen is in the right field corner as well. You can also win free tickets to the Duck Blind from US Cellular on the day of the game. Outside of the Duck Blind, the park is very kid-friendly, with various mascots running around and all sorts of things to keep the kids occupied. The main mascot rides a zipline down from the party deck in the Duck Blind to home plate to start off the game and set the tone. It's always about having a good time. The various promotions include "B-List Celebrity Fridays," various throwback nights and bands playing live music. The concessions range from the traditional hot dogs, peanut and cotton candy to the truly excellent jambalaya. The prices are quite reasonable and the people working are always friendly and appear to be having as much of a good time as the fans. For the price there isn't much else you can find in Madison that compares.

My friends and I love going to Mallards games, it's one of our summer traditions! We usually do the Great Dane Duck Blind, because with dinner, drinks, and the ticket, that's the best deal in town! We also like the atmosphere in the Duck Blind, that we can get up and walk around and talk to each other during the game. The view of the field isn't the greatest, but we love the atmosphere. Maynard and Millie usually come out and take photos with us in the Duck Blind and there are always fun promotions going on. The food is good, the beer selection is awesome, and the games are fun to watch. Fourth of July weekend there are fireworks and entertainment after the game, it's the best! We will return again and again!

We had great seats for the game, but it's easy to see how many seat in this smaller stadium would be wonderful! It was a great night! Parking: The parking is fairly easy, even if you're a bad parker like I am. We got there semi early and still had a spot that wasn't very far from the entrance. I've never been to a baseball game and this stadium made me feel like I was living in a movie. The music. The food. It was great. The staff in every area were wonderful. I was super thankful for all the people who knew how things worked! Bathrooms:The bathrooms were okay, there were a large amount of them. But they weren't very clean. Food: The food was pretty decent when I finally had my burger, beer and nachos. There were a nice amount of places to get food so the lines weren't very long. For someone learning the game, I had a wonderful time learning the game in this small easy going stadium. The crowd was very low key. So I had a good time hearing my fiancé when things were going on. All in all, this was a great game to watch at a great stadium. (Though I still don't understand baseball.

The actual…read moreamount of baseball I've watched has been minimal (prior to the Duck Blind's renovation, the area barely even faced the field), but we generally seem to do well as a team. There's lots of entertainment in both the concourse area and during/after the game. There are tons of contests, challenges for prizes, and random entertainment like 80s cover bands and appearances by C-list celebrities. Your best bets for a fun night out is to go with either a family pack special or a Duck Blind ticket. The family-pack style tickets usually get you a reserved seat, a soda, a food item, and sometimes a promo item like a hat. It usually ends up being about $10-$15/person. The Duck Blind is the true draw, though. True, $40 sounds like a lot for a minor league ball ticket, but you get unlimited food and drinks (including a wide range of beer) through the seventh inning. If it's been a few years since your last Duck Blind experience, they've drastically improved seating and have expanded the food menu and setup. Stations are broken out around the ground floor to break up the lines, and many sides are now self-serve. There are several soda fountains throughout the space (including up in the grandstand), and you have your pick of 25+ beers. It's not just cheap-o lawnmower beers, either; there are IPAs, ciders, Great Dane brews, and more. Food choices now include things like BBQ pork, smoked chicken, and boneless wings in addition to your standard burger/brat/hot dog selection. Lines moved very quickly when we went and we were able to find seating upstairs. The sun gets a little hot, but it was nice to have a place to sit considering the length of most baseball games. Other ballpark fun to note: don't miss Maynard Mallard zip lining in to start the game, and cheer for at least five runs scored by the home team so you can trade in your ticket for a free scoop of Culver's custard.

The facility itself is great. Lots of space. A gymnasium, meeting rooms, a gym, a couple craft rooms, and plenty more I haven't seen yet I'm sure. It's kept clean and is pretty nice. All the staff I've interacted with thus far has been great, super friendly. The class I'm taking is awesome. It's pottery 1 so pretty basic but I am definitely enjoying it and learning a lot! The instructor Todd is fantastic and really great with everyone in our class. Overall, I'm a fan!

Oh my. That view was the key to my unwinding every week. This is a gorgeous facility! I would argue it is one of Madison's best kept secrets. I had to purchase an annual pass in order to attend the Pilates class, which was really affordable and allows me access to the cozy, lobby space free games of pool, and I'm not sure what else. They also have a fitness center, which operates under a really reasonable drop in rate and is also gorgeous.
