But the difference in care is so drastic! I was floored at the kindness, attention to me and not the clock. Everyone is a part of your team cheering you on to the next goal of strengthening your muscles and rebuilding confidence that you will meet your goals. As an elder, I wasn't expecting much. Usually you are treating as if you have lost your ability to look ahead after healing not moving into your new future. This is the place for comforting, moral boosting and overall knowledge of how to care for my needs. Treat yourself to what you deserve. And in my opinion this is the gold standard for after surgery care.

It was wonderful working with Physical Therapists who understand runners and cyclists both physically and emotionally. Every session is different and begins with questions about what has happened since the previous session. At that point, the Physical therapist adjusts the plan for the day if needed. Sessions with Andrea and Cindy (Madison, County Line location) included exercises plus hands-on treatment for specific areas including massage, rolling, suction cups or whatever is needed. With their education and decades of experience they identified spots that needed attention when I did not realize those spots were the source of problems. The initial examination was very thorough and documented to identify progress. Nesin's holistic approach really worked for me. I had two sessions at a large facility and knew the impersonal cookie-cutter approach was not a good fit for me. I am so grateful that I switched to Nesin. The NTS facility is not large and overwhelming but still has tremendous resources. The staff made sure I understood how to do specific exercises at home and were very reinforcing when my progress showed that I had been working. After sessions I felt spoiled and rewarded sitting with TENS (mild electrical current to reduce pain) and either ice or heat. I am incredibly grateful for the NTS team and highly recommend them.

I was in and out in a decent amount of time. Physical location was clean and inviting. I had the mask on for a total of 15 minutes. I put it on when i got there, as a courtesy, in case i was positive for covid. She made me feel like a joke. Imagine going to the doctors office, paying a copay, waiting to be seen, only to be told that "Oh, your ears are probably hurting from the mask". I explained to her my other symptoms and she said she would call in medicine. Four hours go by, as i'm waiting for my pharmacy to call me. I call them first and realize Hillary Pennington never sent it over. I had to call her Urgent Care office back and let them know that she never called it in. I never got an apology. This was my first visit and I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism. Secondly, my husband has been there twice in 10 days for an ear infection. He has been misdiagnosed twice and going to a different doctor to get a proper diagnosis. He was seen by Dr. Ehtisham Khan. The medication he prescribed did nothing. I know there are different types of antibiotics for inner, middle, and/or outer ear infections. So to sum it all up, just go somewhere else. Don't be like me and waste time, money, and energy at this place. It makes it all worse when you are sick and being treated this way. If you want a doctor who genuinely cares about you and wants to help you, literally go anywhere else. I hope this review is helpful.

If you're looking for a clinic that can treat you but excels in ignoring your secondary insurance requirements and botching even the simplest instructions directly given to them by the insurer, look no further. This is the place for you! It's honestly impressive how determined they are to not follow directions. I watched in awe as my secondary insurer, a living, breathing human being, literally spoke to them on the phone and explained exactly what was needed. Like, step-by-step, as if talking to a toddler with a billing system. Did that help? Of course not! Why let clear communication ruin a good disaster? Instead, American Family Care billing department decided to go rogue. They billed incorrectly (again), sent the wrong billing codes (bravo), and then didn't even provide the additional information requested by the secondary insurer. And don't worry, if you're hoping for updates or resolution, just sit back and wait forever. Their follow-up skills are so advanced, they've transcended the concept of time entirely. Emails? Vanished. Callbacks? Hilarious. Accountability? nah...But wait, it gets better. Ever try to email them? Or send a letter? You might as well attach your message to a balloon and hope it floats into the right office. Responses are rarer than a solar eclipse. Apparently, their inbox is a black hole where accountability goes to die. And their physical mail? Probably stacked under someone's lunch leftovers. If you enjoy endless phone calls, re-explaining the same thing fifteen times, and playing detective just to get your bills corrected for care you already paid for with the primary insurance congratulations! You've found your happy place. In short: great place if you want to feel like you're participating in a billing scavenger hunt with no prize at the end. But you will get treated. Avoid unless you're trying to test your patience and sanity or writing a thesis on bureaucratic failure. Primary insurer, no problem...Secondary-DISASTER-no clue what they're doing but it's not the right thing. All the work they put in for $35 far exceeds the return they would get. Amazing.

We believe that pulled pork he ate was not good. Anyway, took him to AFC in Madison and the wait was unbelievable. I was told they only had one provider and wait time could be awhile. Not a problem! The problem is what happens next. He's seen by a doctor that test him for COVID and flu and it comes back negative. They draw blood and tell me I can get the results tomorrow. In the meantime, they start him on antibiotics worried that he may have have a stomach bug or food poisoning. He gets worse the next day and my wife is concerned takes him to another doctor. The other doctor is completely confused because he's like why they would give him these antibiotics knowing that he has diarrhea and that the antibiotics would only make it worse. He takes him off the antibiotics and he gets better almost instantaneous. Finally, about 30 minutes ago we get a call to tell us he's dehydrated from AFC. I worry that had we not kept went to another doctor and continued him on these unnecessary antibiotics that my son could be dead now. I'm taking him to get more labs done to ensure that they haven't done any permanent damage by giving him medicine that wasn't necessary and quite frankly dangerous. Really disappointed with this and truly this may be the worst medical experience I've ever had. More will follow with updates on his health after this. I'm really confused how a test that only takes a day to get back would be communicated to us three days later after the doctor said it should be back in the following day. Oh, and by the way, it was done the following day we called Labcorp and they gave us the results on the spot. I will not be returning!

I was unsure about what to expect. But Dr Lanier is so personable, thorough, and easy to talk to. He did x-rays of my back where I was having the pain. He immediately went over those with me (not come back in a few weeks like other doctors). Turns out my pelvis was off a little bit and there were some issues with my spine. Dr Lanier knew it was my first time to see a chiropractor so he talked me through the process of my first treatment as he was working on my back so I would know what to expect. It was incredibly helpful to know ahead of time what part of my back he would be working on next. He made me feel comfortable by chatting with me while adjusting my back. The office staff are very welcoming and efficient. They greet everyone in a way that I felt very welcomed. Once you are an established patient (go one time) you can go in anytime during the doctor's hours and get an adjustment without an appointment. I honestly was a bit skeptical about that and thought it would take a long time and that there would be a lobby full of people who popped in, but I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes. So thankful for Dr. Lanier and the office staff. I actually look forward to going to see the doctor!
