Their attitude is the dealers are stealing from customers, so many auto shops are doing it, why not them? They have to get a piece of the action, why should they be different? Specially when everyone are robbing people, they steal from you and they think that they're giving you a favor. They kept my car for over 4 months, there's absolutely no excuse for this, it was in winter time, if your car wasn't driven for 4 months parts will start to break and that's exactly what happened. Don't let them keep your car for more than 2 days. Now I go to Automo on Saint Charles. And I'm very happy with them.. Here's what I believe, I know now that there are some honest auto shop that makes more revenue than them because the customers keeps coming back. I booked an appointment online Friday evening for Saturday monring, they looked at car right on time. The receptionist was very friendly and polite. The mechanic looked at my hybride and he said my brakes were fine, actually there was 80% pad life still remaining. He said the drums had a bit of light corresion but not to be concerned, as this is normal for hybrides and EV, because the electric braking system is slowing the car down, not the brakes as much. I didn't know this, so this information gave me peace of mind. They only charged for the inspection which was under $50, and there was no up selling. I found out if I needed brake pads or other parts, they are available on weekends, which is good to know for anyone needing brake work. Excellent shop, I'll definately be going back in the future

Walked in on my day off with a car that had been making a loud noise for over a week. Did not…read morerealize this was a body shop and not a general mechanic garage. I was about to walk away when the owner, Francis, took one of his guys off a job to get into my car and drive around the block with me to listen to what might be the cause. I had told Francis the noise was so loud that my daughter was embarrassed to drive in our car. When he heard I had a child he didn't feel good sending me away in the event it was a question of safety. We returned and his employee proceeded (with a great attitude) to remove a tire to check what he thought might be the issue. When all was done I was very appreciative and wanted to of course pay for the time. Francis told me it was on him and was happy to help. What? Who does that? I left, still a little surprised but definitely pleased with the way I was treated. And I wasn't even a paying customer!
