Most had expired after their expiration date and others needed to be resolved and re-issued due to his apathy. Had to resolve how to distribute the funds in one of the 2 accounts the respondent had as it was against the policy of the main bank to issue a 50/50 check as was requested in the will. After sitting in the bank for over an hour and a half speaking with the managers, it was settled that all the funds needed to be sent to the second bank which had a more flexible policy which would grant the conditions in the will distributing all the funds between the two individuals inheriting the estate. But speaking with the paralegal later the next day I was told they can not do that as was stated "I have been doing this for years I would know". Well they were wrong as this is how this issue was settled. Another issue that arose was they had informed us that any tax filings were our responsibility now that the individual had passed away. After speaking to another attorney they laughed and said that the conservator/attorney were the ones that should have been doing all this along with cashing these uncashed check and filing tax returns as they are that persons guardians! This joker has someone's palms greased as he receives clients who become wards of the state due to certain situations and puts in minimum work and maximum payout! Steer clear of this law firm.
