Stay away! Doesn't even deserve one star! Ordered a National Geographic for Kids magazine subscription on Dec 10, 2025. Now April 16, 2026 and nothing received. When I called multiple times the past few months I was given different explanations but the latest was that I "should" receive the first magazine in mid May, 2026! Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy, so I asked for some sort of explanation and some compensation. Nope. Nothing. So I requested a cancellation and they said they will mail me a cheque in about 6 weeks!!! I tried calling this company because they were trying to charge my account and when I called them I started calling and I was put on hold from 11:00 a.m. Eastern time to 1:45 eastern time and it kept telling me that they're assisting other customers to please hold and nobody ever answered so I just think that they just have that so nobody can ever get through read more

Magazine Express - Amazon charged my card in January for a yearly subscription when I didn't even get my first magazine until May 1st off my first yearly subscription. My auto renew should have renewed in May not in January only halfway through the subscription. Also, I got zero emails from them telling me they will be auto renewing my membership and at what price like they stated they would in their description on Amazon. I never agreed to any of this. Pure fraud. This is a very shady company that I can't believe Amazon uses. I will never use this corrupt company again. read more

Trying to cancel a magazine I ordered and never received getting the run around. Don't waste your time or money

0 stars this place is a rip off. I should have listen to some of the reviews I ordered this for my mom. I think it was a three or six issue subscription for 20 bucks. She never received one thing it says it was shipped, but she did not get it so you cannot reach them to get a refund. Amazon should not work with this place. read more

They messed up an order on Amazon for USA Today. Tried calling and emailing them but never got a response. Contacted Amazon and they remarked they've had trouble with this company so I hope they find someone else soon. We did get a prompt, full refund from Amazon. read more

I should have read the reviews first. I saw a good deal on a couple of Reader's Highlights for Children so I order it for my Great grand daughter. I looked for something that said it would renew but there was NOTHING there. I was amazed a few months later when they charged me $40 for a year! I canceled it that day! I agree with the above reviews. I did receive 1 magazine, but I had subscribed to 3 years. After the first magazine, I didn't get another one, and did not hear from the company. I would say that they're a joke, but it falls too flat to be that. Save your time and money. read more

I ordered a magazine subscription in AUGUST 2007 through Amazon.com, whose distributor is Magazine Express. So this subscription to Casabella Magazine cost $266.21, which is a pretty penny for only 11 publications that don't even have a hardbound cover. A veeeeerrrrryyyy pretty penny seeing as it is now JULY 3RD, 2008 and as of yet I have only received two (2!) issues, both of which required numerous calls to both Amazon.com and Magazine Express. So that comes out to... $133.11 per issue, plus my invaluable time. Customer service was shoddy the first time, basically reading a script into the phone. It was little better than talking to a recording. The second man I spoke with was more accommodating, however failed to explain to me what happened to my missing merchandise. I swear I heard the clicking of a typewriter in the background... Get with the times, Magazine Express. And don't piss off a Yelper, cause she'll write about you while you put her on hold. read more

For 5 years I have tried to subscribe to Charlie Hebdo and after 4/6 weeks I always get a message that due to technical problems my subscription is canceled. This is censorship . I just tried again today. So Magazine Express censors the reading of Amazon customers. read more

I ordered from Magazine Express through Amazon. They cancelled my order with the publisher. When I complained that I wanted a refund because I only got 1 of the 4 issues, they only refunded 1 of the missing 3 issues. The discounted rate cost me 3x the regular rate. read more
