All I have to say is... what a gem. From the moment we walked in, the place had such a cozy, charming vibe. I really loved how affordable everything was, which is rare these days. My latte was delicious and came out perfectly hot, not lukewarm like you get at some cafés. I may have also had one of the best bacon, egg, and cheese croissants here. It was fresh, warm, buttery, and the cheese was melting perfectly. And whatever you do, do not sleep on the cinnamon roll, it's a must. This is a nice neighborhood cafe. I've been here twice for networking events, one in the morning and the other from 4-6 pm. Both times I ordered the chai, which is ok. It tastes like it's made from a powder, rather then concentrate or tea bags. I've tried their pastry (guava, cheese), its pretty good. Service is good and there is plenty of parking. read more

I really enjoy this little coffee and bake shop. The ambience is chill, the prices are decent, the people working there are really pleasant, and the food is tasty. I highly recommend the lavender latte (just don't chew on the lavender, it can be bitter), the empanadas and the sweet cheese pastry. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich as well, and the croissant was amazing. Just know that the turkey or ham option is deli meat, and it didn't seem to have too much egg on it, but it did have lots of cheese. :) I would love to try the avocado toast and more of their baked items soon! read more

Okay, if you're anywhere near FLL, you need to make a pilgrimage to this cute, lil' coffeeshop that doubles as a brunchery. (You know ... the kind of place where you could get a homemade empanada, a freshly baked cinnamon roll, or a whole damn gourmet sammich.) I'm not sure what sort of Cubano coffee they use, but it's some of the strongest I've had in Southern Florida. Don't worry, they have plenty of festive seasonal foo-foo coffee drinks if that's your jam. Prices reasonable. Service spectacular. The owner Maggie is usually bopping around and keeping everyone happy, fed, and overly caffeinated. The thing I liked best? It's a good mix of people from all the local surrounding neighborhoods/gayborhoods. And it's always politely busy ... so you know it's gotta be good. Coffee competition in this town is fierce. My suggestion? Go hungry or hungover. You'll leave in a much better mood than when you arrived. If six stars were an option, I'd give 'em that. (An extra one for how gracious and congenial Maggie is. What a cute place! Who knew they have been at this location for two years! When you walk in you are greeted with a big smile and a friendly smile. They have all kinds of pastries to choose from. I didn't try these YET, I'll have to try them next time. I had my Mother and partner join me for breakfast. Mom ordered the croissant with Ham, egg and cheese. I had the same but with bacon which were served with chips (had I known this I would have asked them to keep them and not waste on us). My partner ordered the blueberry pancakes. Also we wanted to try the fresh empanadas that were filled with chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious! I'm a stickler on cleanliness and this place passed with flying colors. We had a nice lunch here the other day. We had been to this area before to a couple other places so it looked familiar. There was ample parking out front. It wasn't that busy when we stopped by. Inside, it is fairly large. It would be a good spot to have coffee and lunch while working on your computer, too. We warmly greeted on entering. My husband ordered the fig and prosciutto with Gorgonzola crepe. It was a large natural wheat crepe drizzled with balsamic glaze. It said it was quite good, but he did need a knife and fork to cut through the ham. The crepe came with a bit of greens on the side. I got their caprese sandwich and added chicken. I got the pesto on the side. The sandwich came with potato chips on the side. I also added a decaf americano on ice for my drink. It was a bit strong so I got some more ice for it. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was good. And yes, there is a Maggie. We didn't meet her but she was in the back making pastries. read more

Newly opened Coffee /tea/Bakery. Stopped in for lunch today and apparently they are gathering a following of locals. Bright and clean with a friendly greeting and staff. I ordered the Prosciutto with Fig Jam (and Gorgonzola) crepe which came with drizzled Balsamic sauce and Arugula. It was very tasty and enjoyable. The Bakery Case contains a lot of beautiful (and tempting) pastry creations. They should do very well here. Plenty of parking in this strip center. read more

Hidden gem! I went to Labcorp and in the same shopping center I saw the sign Maggie's Favorite and realized it was a cafe. I walked over and as soon as I entered the door the woman at the counter greeted me and my sons. Since it was my first time I asked for a coffee recommendation and she told me her personal favorite is the brown sugar cinnamon.... She did not disappoint with that recommendation. Subtle flavor not overwhelming sweet and they offer milk alternatives. I also tried the chocolate croissant warmed up and it was a great combo with the coffee flavor. The cafe was really clean and the decor gave modern tea party vibes. They went the extra mile with the thank you stickers on the to go packaging. I don't know how I've missed this place for all the years that I've lived in and around Oakland Park/Wilton Manors. Walking into the space we were greeted warmly by Maggie and her husband. Beautiful, large space that has some tables and chairs, couches and tables. The food and coffee were amazing. No picture, but we got the ham, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich. Simple sandwich, but absolutely delicious. Paired with yummy potato chips. The pistachio, Brie and honey toast (which is a special) was phenomenal. That was paired with greens and a yummy light dressing. I highly recommend this place for a coffee shop, a good place for brunch or anytime you want good, quality food. I had a basic nutella crepe with strawberry and banana slices and a matcha latte with oat milk. The former is pretty good in size, and tasted great. The latter is a little thinner in consistency than I would like and prefer, but I love that they made it unsweetened to be adjusted to your taste. My boyfriend ordered the cannoli, dulce de leche cupcake, and some kind of cream pie (?). He thoroughly enjoyed eating with his eyes and was not able to finish everything lol. This is a bakery-style eatery that serves pastries (try the cupcakes!), crepes (try the Nutella!) and sandwiches (try the Turkey pesto!). They have coffee drinks and beer and wine.
