From the moment you enter the Magic and Wonder theater you know you are in a special place. For a dinner theater-- just being real--- I didn't expect the buffet to be as good as it was. It normally isn't stellar in these types of venues. I was pleasantly surprised. Theirs was great! Several choices of main courses and it tasted amazing! My servers, Lincoln and Abigail were attentive and prompt. I did the VIP experience. I highly recommend it. They build in some magical moments to make the night special for you. The preshow entertainment was outstanding. The young man doing walk around close up magic in the crowd astounded many, including me! The cast works very hard to create an immersive magical atmosphere from the moment you walk in and they truly deliver just that. The magic show was AMAZING. Professional lighting and staging combined with moving music and mind-blowing full-scale illusions you would expect to see in a Las Vegas show. The aerialists and dancers added another level of awe to the performance, too. There were built in moments where the audience laughed out loud and gasped in amazement and it's all family friendly. Brett Myers is not only an outstanding magician, but also carries a stage presence of a true seasoned professional. The magic will blow you away but the theatrical presentation of the effects make it extremely memorable. Some magic shows just throw one disjointed effect after another but this show had a magical theme with moments that drew you into a story. It made the evening that much more wonderful. A+! If you're in the Lancaster area, make this show a priority. You won't be disappointed! It's the place to be astounded and make a memory you won't soon forget. This place was so fantastic. I booked a table for my family accidentally thinking it was a magic show. They do offer magic shows but also do a jukebox musical review. I have two 5 year olds and they adored it. We got a seat at the very front and loved being so close to the action. The entire staff was so kind to our family. We came on father's day and our server shared their happiness to have us there on our special day. Before the show, they did a music trivia. My kids nearly fell off their chairs when I got one of the questions correct. Our prize? A soda (for me) and a giant bag of popcorn (that I didn't get one bite of!). The performers were energetic, singing the greatest hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. There were bubbles, a little magic, aerials and so many great moments. Really good show and dinner. We went to a lunchtime show. Lunch consisted of salad bar and soup of the day. Then a basic Amish style buffet that included roast beef and lemon chicken, roasted red potatoes, and a vegetable. Also there was a few different desserts. Oh, where do I start? The theatre is quite old but the seating is spacious. We went to the magic and illusions performance based on the ratings posted. It is very amateur to say the least and oh so very corny. Bring on the butter and the salt! We only saw one good illusion during the first act. Then we made magic by disappearing. Hence, we do not know if it improved by the second act. It wasn't worth the $58+ per ticket. Unfortunately I missed the coupons that were posted two days later. read more

Cruise like entertainment. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I was starving and the Brussels, the roast beef, the chicken all had great flavor. The potatoes were good. Typical salad bar. Only 1 soup and 1 roll type. Our waitress was a little scatterbrained. Had to ask several times for a refill, kept forgetting to bring a check for 1 person at the table, made an error on cost of drinks. She was busy but come on it was a buffet. The show was very well done with some real talent participating, but that's where it stops. Unfortunately, the dinner portion is lacking. We've been to this area MANY times and have never seen this Theater much less the show. The food was fantastic and the show amazing. We've seen MANY magicians and illusionists as far as Vegas. Just want to see the jukebox musical I can't say enough nice thing about it is music from the 50s to the 80s. The entertainment was amazing. It is a dinner theater but you had a choice of eating dinner there or not and we did not but I heard the food was amazing also. This is a definite go see staff was amazing. I have seen magic shows in Las Vegas, and in NYC where I live. And this was a stunning surprise for Lancaster. Amazing production, most unbelievable acts. I had young kids with me (4 and 6 years old) but i was just as amazed as they were. This is a great show for adults and kids alike. Having been in Amish country at least 6 times before, I never heard of this show - and now - must say this is a requirement to see for anyone visiting. Will come back to see it again myself. The prices for the show, merchandise, concessions is extremely fair (or even too low). This show would be a bit anywhere including top destinations. read more

We saw the Holly Jolly Jukebox Musical Show - Dinner was Ok at best had basically a thanksgiving all you can eat buffet prior to the show - Food again was eatable nothing to brag about - except stuffing LOL it was good and their Specialty drinks were pretty exciting if you like alcohol and fireworks. But the show well I understand the need for Alcohol LOL, it wasn't bad but reminded me more of a High School musical with many young performers. There was one young lady who stood out above all of the performers. This was more like something you would see at Busch Gardens. The intent of the performance was good. Again the company I kept was the best part about the show itself I would go back but not for the Musical - would like to catch the Magic Show to see how it compares to others I have seen. The reflected rating has to do a lot more with the menu and the food as opposed to the show. If you decide to come here, I repeat, do not purchase the dinner and show. Buy only the show. No one should be allowed to eat this slop food. It's basically dog food. They should be ashamed of themselves to serve such poor quality food and charge $70 for the dinner and show ticket. Menu was dried turkey, honey ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, and very limited desserts. This is the worst food I have ever eaten in my life and I was forced to eat it, so I do not waste my money. food Service was below average as well. This was our second time out to see the show but our first time at the new location- was fantastic both times, but definitely loved the seating options at the new facility- our larger group pulled two tables together in celebration of my daughters birthday. We ordered lots of food items that were promptly brought before the start of the show. The entire thing felt very special from start to finish. Little details from the concession stand workers outfits to the decor, the show! just everything really made it really special. As a Christian seeing a magic show, I also always love how it is made clear your trusting heart and faith in Gods purpose in your life, even through covid! This is a nice, intimate theater (seats about 150 ppl I'm guessing). It's family friendly, they are very welcoming as you enter and it's easy to see they're happy to see you. The magician, Brett, has three assistants and an additional entertainer, one of whom is his wife, and they all play a very big part in the show. And his little boy made a guest appearance. Very cute! It's family friendly, and the tricks range from fun and silly to downright amazing. They do serve food, so try not to go right after eating at one of the local restaurants like we did. The popcorn smelled amazing, and they had a good menu of appetizers and other things that I couldn't try - maybe next time! read more

My family and I had the pleasure of attending Magic and Wonder last night while staying in Lancaster. The Cartoon Network hotel offered a free child's ticket at check in and we figured it would give us something to do in the evening. The show started off with a magic trick, that surprisingly worked! Make sure to keep the playing cards on the table ready! Brett & his crew performed different magic acts, each one better than the last. We loved seeing the whole family involved! The Woody & Buzz part with their family was our favorite. Dinner was ordered via QR code & brought to the table during the show. Only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't add drinks to the order vi the app. You had to go to the lobby to get them. Later on we ordered the magician's hat dessert, and that did not disappoint. It was big enough for 4 people to share! Magic & Wonder wished a happy birthday to some of the members of our party, and were so good at getting the audience involved in the performance. This is a family friendly show, with members of all ages enjoying the show. I will definitely be recommending Magic & Wonder to friends visiting the area, as well as going to see the Mystery Show when it premieres in 2022. read more

My husband and I went to the Magic and Wonder theater this evening to see the Magic show. This show is great!! It is on par with other top-headliner magic shows we have seen in Vegas. If you are going to be in the Lancaster, PA area, this show should be on your list. There were quite a few families at the show and all of the kids were mesmerized. Next time, we are definitely bringing our grandchildren to the show. The theater is nice. Everyone sits at tables which is nice and comfortable and you're not sitting close to others.
