This time when I went in I asked twice to have the basic pedicure done and gel nails. When I was finished it cost me $55 dollars for the pedicure, and it wasn't anywhere near the ones they advertise for that price. Be careful of what they do and it would be nice if a few of the staff understood English and spoke it better.

Initially a lady started my nails but was so slow that a man took over. My nails were lopsided and uneven- never experienced this before. Returned today to have them fixed and was told it was my fault for the crap job. The man continued to insult me and blame me for lack of their ability in doing nails. I live in Toronto and have been to many of the nail salons there. This one is quite different. They asked me to wash my hands thoroughly beforehand, which is unusual but okay. They had me soak my fingertips which is what I'm used to but did not add anything to the water. Also, do not expect a hand massage, or hand cream or hot towel after all the cutting, filing, massaging etc that you get at nearly every other nail salon I've been too. She did pay a lot of attention to my cuticles, but made them bleed on 3 hands (went way too deep candidly). Ouch! Also seemed expensive for a standard (ie not gel) manicure considering what I got. It was $25 before tip. AND the nail polish was significantly chipping after 3 days!! (I'm not talking about tips. I mean at least a third of it came off!) They seemed to have a lot of local customers. Be prepared for a never ending slew of personal questions too. Don't think I will be back. Maybe the locals experience is different. ‍

I asked if we could come back for a correction ;she refused and threatened to call the police if we didnt pay the full amount. I was willing to pay for the cut and styling (which I did) but wanted to pay for color once it was fixed but she refused and chose to handle the situation very unprofessionally.
