If you are looking to have the best magic show money can buy, please look no further. we had 20 5 year olds for a birthday party this past weekend and we were very nervous how our first magic show would go good thing we hired James because he hit it out of the park with the children not only was he entertaining for the adults with his jokes and humor but the children got every single magic trick that he put out. the way he encourages the children to participate made it that much better & to end the show holding a bunny rabbit in a floppy hat what five-year-old wouldn't love that. I hired McHugh to entertain at my 70th birthday party. He came to the house a couple months before the event to look over the back patio and determine where he would conduct his act. We stayed in touch several times before the event, ironing out final details. He showed up more than an hour early the night of the event to set up. Once guests started arriving and were enjoying cocktails poolside, McHugh began working the crowd, doing magic. He went table to table and it was first rate magic including card tricks. It was a perfect setting for our guests. After dinner, McHugh put on a regular show. Everyone was so impressed with his act. He then spent some time talking to guests and answering questions. McHugh is great! He was a perfect addition to my son's 6-year old birthday party. For my son's 5th birthday, he wanted a magic-themed party, but I could not a find a reasonably priced magician for a kids' party in the area. Boy, was I excited when I found McHugh. Even though his next birthday did not have a magic theme, we went for it! We had about 12 kids, and they were in awe the whole time!!! McHugh was so good with them all. He is a father of three, so he was very soft-spoken and easy-going with the kids. The parents and grandparents loved the show too! He not only did a full :30-minute "stage" show, but before and after, he did a few roving magic tricks with the kids and adluts. It was a fun addition.
