Since our character was so late, some kids had to leave when she was just arriving. We were building up the anticipation but by then we discovered it would be well over another hour, so the kids got in the pool instead and were well into playing and not really into the entertaining by the time the character did arrive. Overall the character was great once the kids heard her singing. Balloon artist was kind of a waste of money since it was a little awkward having someone walk around making balloons without the entertainer. Kind of a bummer it played out that way. All of the kids loved having Joaquin there (even those that didn't know who Blippi was) and made my job of wondering how to entertain 12 kids for 3 hours much easier!
