Hired Magical Matty for a joint birthday party and he was FANTASTIC. We had about 15 kids and half were ages 3-7 - they were locked in from the very beginning and he did a full 30-min set + balloons afterwards. If you are debating on who to hire (as there are a number of options around town), Matty is great read more

I agree with the other reviews. Magical Matty was terrific at my daughter's birthday party yesterday. You can tell he is well seasoned. He stayed in character and I enjoyed his chipper personality. He is a great entertainer for kids of all ages. The kids stayed excited and amazed at his tricks. I like that he involves the audience in some of his acts. He's also quick and very talented at face painting. I would hire him again should the occasion arise. read more

He is FANTASTIC! He came for my 3 year olds birthday party and painted their faces and did balloon animals. I was expecting small characters on their cheeks....No. he did FULL face paint and it looked so good. Like the type of face painting you pay $20 for at festivals. Some of the younger kids didn't want their faces painted, so he made them balloon animals which they loved. he even stayed past him time to make a balloon for a child who popped hers. Several parents commented on how great he was at the party, and got his information. Now my daughter wants him to come to her party too! read more

We had Matty at 2 of our b-day parties (2 consecutive years: Clown & Pirate). The kids (3 & 5) asked to have him back. They remembered him a year later! He's very professional & engaging. He not only entertains the kids, but also adds to the whole atmosphere. He's courteous, good communicator, & great to deal with. read more

This was our second time to have Magical Matty at a party. He is great! We had half a dozen 10 year olds and they all laughed through his show. Most of the kids got to be a part of the tricks and they all loved the balloon animals they got at the end. I think the adults enjoyed it too! read more

Established in 2009.

I began drawing caricatures at events and parties and quickly learned how much fun face painting, balloon twisting and glitter tattoos were at events. Having a degree in Art helped me to quickly develop these new skills and offer them to my clients. Of course, it's only natural that Soda-Pop McBop the clown could add even more entertainment while performing these super fun "party arts".

I have been working in the art field for over 20 years and love working within the entertainment side of the business. I live in North East Dallas and travel all over the DFW area. I am fully background checked and insured. Plus, I work with many event planners in the DFW area, as well as nationally.
