Their receipts have all your credit card numbers on them, I didn't realize it until I got home, but I highly suggest you don't use a credit card if you go here. Easily overlooked by it's Downtown DIsney location, Magnetron "attracts" folks in with their clever selection of refrigerator magnets. If you think of something, and it can be turned into a magnet, you'll find it here. Like many of the tourist spots in Downtown Disney, it can be packed with foreign tourists pushing their way to gawk at all the novelties. If you go at night, or outside of any major holiday weekends, the store is less crowded and can give you some time to browse all the stuff. Magnetron is a very small kitschy store in Downtown Disney that sells nothing but magnets. We were initially intrigued by the concept, but I have to say that I left here a little dissapointed. While the selection here looks huge at the beginning, you can quickly realize that most of the walls are filled up with duplicate magnets that only differ in color, and not much else. The Good: Buy Magnets in Bulk: This place had plenty of specials like "3 for 10" and "5 for $15" which is great if you are looking to really overhaul your refrigerator. The Bad: Not much to see here: The magnets here basically fall into three categories: animal shaped, funny sayings, and food-shaped. All of the magnets are variations on these 3 things, and the result is sort of sigh-worthy. There's not even a magnetic shopping list! Magnetron was okay for me, but I really think I saw more magnet variety at the M&Ms store at the Florida Mall. And that's saying something. Overall 6.0/10= a Magnetic Disappointment. read more

TONS of magnets!! If you are a collector of any sorts, and would like to see it in a magnet form, this is the place to go! Cons: The store is jammed packed! They definitely maximize the room they have to the fullest. While we were there the store was extremely busy and it was hard move and see everything inside of the store. read more

This store is just filled with every magnet you could possibly think of. They have tons of creative products, and I loved the lifesize hot dog magnet. It looked so real! read more

The Magnetron has now moved to the opposite side of downtown Disney and now is an outside stand. It only carries magnets now. Though smaller it still has a decent selection. read more

This shop is fascinating! It is a shop that just sells magnets! Every inch of the shop walls are covered in magnets - you can buy the magnets, which come in so many different designs, but even if you are not interested in buying a great little souvenir - it is an incredible shop to visit. Do have a quick look in next time you are in the area! read more
