They offer Deep tissue, medium, and light touch massage. I opted for the deep tissue and let me tell you I feel like a million new dollars. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. Smooth music playing in the background, great scents as well. I might have to give up my sushi once a month to go get a massage now. This place really is top notch. If you are from out of town and on a long road trip, this is a great way to reduce stress from driving many miles. If you are a local, this should be a part of your new years resolutions. You may have heard this many times before, but you really do owe it to yourself to get a massage on a regular basis. This year as I am training to run a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and a full marathon, I will be visiting Michelle on a regular basis to keep my mind, body, and spirit all on the same page. In fact, I let my other two gift cards lapse because I like my time at Rio so much more. She hasn't been rated best in Tehama multiple years for nothing! She consults with me before hand to find out any issues I am having and focuses on my trouble areas as well as completing a full massage. She was essential in alieviating a chronic shoulder injury. During our time, she is regularly checking on the amount of heat, pressure and focus areas to ensure the best possible experience. I've also had the pleasure of facials with Debbie and they are AMAZING! That gal is a hoot! So friendly and down home, I don't think I have ever seen her without a giggle in her voice and a smile on her face. Thank you Rio for bringing big city quality to our small town!

She's great, she knows what she's doing. I think that she, like other artists of a kind, gets into a "zone" of relaxed, focused confidence. I have been contacting Megan about *possibly* going blonde for weeks. Okay, maybe months. She was…read moreextremely patient with me and all my questions - I had TONS. She explained all the steps she would do to my hair to help keep it happy and healthy. I am trying to grow it out, but I also wanted to color it blonde, contradicting right? After all the time, patience, questions, and education provided by Megan, I was ready to set up my appointment. I only scheduled my appointment when I was 100% committed. Still nervous come appointment time, she kindly explained the process again and took me step by step as she was using products. I was set on blonde, but not a cut. I asked her professional opinion on what I should do with the cut. I had ideas in mind, but wasn't quite sure on what I wanted to do exactly. Megan asked me a few questions about my "hair lifestyle"...do I style everyday, do I primarily wear up, etc. After a few questions, and fully admitting I am very lazy with my hair, she mixed what I wanted (via Pinterest) and what would be easy for my to style / what would look good with minimum effort. My hair didn't come out as blonde as I wanted. This was only because my hair wasn't light enough to go as blonde as I wanted and going blonde is a process - I know this. I wanted her to do what she could while keeping my hair as healthy as possible. She did just that. I will be back to lighten my hair after the recommended wait of 6 - 8 weeks, because, again, I want my hair to be healthy in the process. The final product? AMAZING. Getting my hair done was a confidence booster, but icing on the cake was getting EXACTLY what I wanted. I haven't had a stylist that has given me an ace cut and color - usually it's one or the other. Megan gave me the full package. I love my hair and have gotten many compliments on it. Megan was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating, and a great conversationalist. Her bubbly personality made the 3 hour appointment fly by. 10/10 would recommend Megan as a stylist to anyone and everyone.

I had taken my new baby with me to the appointment, Megan was very patient and didn't seem to show any negative signs when the baby would wake up. Reason for 4 stars? My hair has been growing out uneven after the haircut, it's very hard to explain what I mean. Those that know me, know what I mean because they've noticed too. But I don't want to speak negatively, that's just the aftermath experience for me. Other than that, she was very friendly and listened to what look you were trying to achieve.
