What brought me to Magnolia Wellness was I met a middle aged man in Whataburger on N. Monroe St. & we were both sitting on a bench waiting on our food. We struck up a conversation & I spoke to him about my excruciating back issues I've been having for over 20 years. I didn't have a pen so he let me borrow his to write down the name of Dr. Raymond Verrier, a local chiropractor. I have been getting care for 2 weeks now & it's literally changed my life. Dr. Verrier's demeanor upon meeting him was warm & welcoming with him stating I have many issues from my cervical to my lumbar regions of my back. I felt instant relief from my first adjustment & the traction helped me immensely. All of the office staff ladies are so helpful & knowledgeable with great attention to detail. I have gone to 3 different chiropractors in this town over the last 22 years, and I can say with certainty that Dr. Zack Verrier is the Best in Tallahassee, simply put. Dr. Verrier is super knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and a good listener which is very important to me, since I have hearing problems as well. I have been to a couple different chiropractors in the past and this is by far the best one yet. Everyone is so friendly and genuinely care about your well being. Chiropractors I've been to in the past just adjust me and my bone just puts back out and I have to keep returning and spending tons of money with no results. Very frustrating and leaves me neglecting my treatment because it's too expensive. Dr. Zachary explained to me that we first need to loosen my muscles so that my body responds to treatment. The first few appointment we took it slow with the g5 machine and the electro pulses and then when he thought it was time he adjusted me manually. (Since chiropractors use an adjustment machine that leaves you wondering if you even got adjusted in the first place.) After my first actual adjustment I feel like a completely different person. I haven't had a migraine since and I'm sure all migraine sufferers know that even 1 migraine free day is like paradise! So happy to have found this place when I messed up my back going to pick up my child, I was so upset since I take care of our children full time and I could barely move/walk and there was no way I could pick them up, I called and they were able to see me the same day and start working on a plan to help me, within the same couple of days, I was adjusted and able to move around so much better! Dr. Verrier at Magnolia Chiropractic sees his first patient at 6:30 am that should tell you something about him. He still practices in the same building across from the hospital for 30 years. I have seen him for a variety of problems for about 22 years. My children and husband and some siblings have treated with him as well . Dr Ray has added another therapy to his repertoire: dry needling, which is not acupuncture, but the insertion of very thin needles into specific muscle tissue to relieve pain and improve movement.
