Kind of empty considering how brimming many charity shops are. A wall of books, some trinket-type items (of the used and new genre) and the like. The clothing didn't really strike me as interesting. I'm also glad it didn't strike me because it hurts when things hit you. I wandered over to a corner. There was an employee bringing out dresses. "Look, just in time for the party season!" she sang out, and proceeded to show me some of the prettiest dresses in a very jovial, kind way. It wasn't annoying, but rather warm and friendly. Although I didn't see anything interesting enough to buy, I was very impressed to see that this place steams the clothes before they put them on the rack. Shows that they care about how things look, about what they sell, and about little babies in Orphanages in the Canary Islands.

Selling a variety of branded shoes and boots, kids, mens and womens. Small store so staff easily accessible and have been polite and helpful to date. Prices are what you expect for their branded footwear. Worth a wander in.

It is an interesting space that showcases contemporary art and cinema. They have connections with top museums, thus the quality of the pieces and shows they do is quite high. If you like contemporary art you will be in the right place. But it definitely is for people who know their names and people; otherwise you can be in a sea of contemporary nothingness.

The owners of this gallery also happen to be the creators of the now renowned 'Affordable Art Fair' which takes place twice a year in London and has now spread through other locations in Europe. Unfortunately for this gallery, I find that it is located in a rather unlikely place, in the middle of a residential upmarket area and is a bit hard to access. I feel that it could do much better in a more accessible and central location.

It replaces the larger branch which used to be on the bridge opposite the station entrance. (There's still a very small branch selling just magazines and confectionery next to the main station entrance). This branch has a small selection of books, a good selection of greetings cards and magazines, and a reasonable selection of stationery. They also sell tobacco products and National Lottery tickets.

The branch of Clarks in Wolsey Place Shopping centre is the smaller of the two branches of Clarks…read morein Woking. It's a really tiny shop which is hard to navigate with a buggy or wheelchair. Despite the size of the store they seem to carry a wide range of mens and ladies shoes. They also carry a few ladies handbags. There is no childrens department in this branch - for that you have to go to the branch in the Peacocks Centre. Seating is available in store but is limited. Staff seem to be friendlier and older than in the main branch an, as a result, I think you actually get better service. It's worth remembering that ths store exists at sale time as they often have better shoes in the sale than the main branch which seems to shift odd stock. I guess that people forget about the branch and so they also tend to have more popular sizes in the sale.

I have bought many items from from Beaverbrooks over the years and always found them to be of very good quality. The range of jewellery is very extensive from earrings, necklaces, watchers I'm sure they cover most things that you might want to buy from a jewellers. Staff are pleasant and helpful the prices are mid to top end of the market and you do get what you pay for. All in all I guess I will always go back to Beaverbrooks.
