I'm familiar with the area however I didn't know that it could re-invent into an impressive event space. I attended a conference there today and I was moved. The event space was large, extremely accessible to public transportation, and the break out rooms were cozy for small teams. This large well lit space can easily convert from a children's museum to a night time fundraising event quickly. The book store has something for everyone.

Mr. Berra was a wonderful family man. During his lifetime, he embraced the importance of giving back and helping others. President Barack Obama awarded the Presidential Metal of Freedom to Yogi Berra. The museum has a pitching area, where you can test your speed. There's a wonderful display of the evolution of catchers mitts from 1895- 2016. During your visit to the museum, please stop in the theater to see an overview of Yogi Berra's life, narrated by Tom Brokaw. The winning banners of the Yankee from 1947 -1962 hang in the theatre. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult- $10, Senior $5, Under 18 $5, Montclair University Students and Veterans Free. There's a designated parking area for visitors to the museum.

There is a display of catcher gloves though the decades, and lots of pictures and quotes from Yogi. There are replicas of his 10 world series rings and three MVP awards. (the originals were stolen). There is a view into the minor league stadium named after him. I enjoyed the 20 minute film on him also. Yogi's WWII service, and the mentorship of HOFer Bill Dickey are also highlighted. I highly recommend a visit to a place that honors one of the all-time great Yankees, and a great human being.

Today, we went to see Rob Schneider. Rob put on an entertaining and sold out comedy show and sang, as well. The theater has great acoustics, comfortable seats, has been nicely renovated, and the staff members keep the attendees moving and safe. I look forward to constantly return to this great performing arts center and hope everyone does, as well.

Sound in the venue was good and our seats, Orch Row G were excellent. We saw The Commodores and they put on a very good show. They had a bar/snacks area right in the center when you enter the theater. No merch for this performance that I could see. I will definitely add Bergen PAC to my list of concert/performance venues.

It is a National Historic Landmark since 2013.. Admission is free. The museum showcases Negro baseball, Paterson's elite athletes and the history of Hinchliffe Stadium. The stadium opened in 1932 and became the homefield for the the New York Black Yankees. Legendry players who played at Hinchliffe Stadium included Larry Doby (a Paterson High School standout, first Black player to enter the American League (Cleveland Indians, July 5, 1947), Hall of Famers (Josh Gibson, Monte Irwin and Jackie Robinson) also played in Hinchcliffe Stadium. Probably the best shortstop ever the play the game, Honus Wagner (1933) played for the Paterson Silk Sox. Twenty "Hall of Fame players" played at one time or another in Hinchcliffe Stadium. Aside from baseball, Hinchcliffe Stadium was also the home of midget car racing and Paterson High Schools major sporting events. The museum has historic photographs, baseball memorabilia, and many other interesting displays. As a baseball fan, I was very excited to see the museum.

Last Sunday, we saw renowned vibraphonist Warren Wolfe. Musicians that joined him have performed with Wynton Marsalis and other top named performers. Seating is general admission.
