If their was a way to give less stars, I would - CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! I have been using Amanda since about April/May. We needed the house deep cleaned because it was a rental before and we had done some construction too. The first couple deep cleanings were good (couple hundred each deep cleaning) and she was very pleasant to work with. Communication was always over text, and she was pretty responsive. However, as time passed, things got more rushed (trash bag still left in the cans, dusting spray still on the nightstand, streaks on the mirrors, etc). I work from home and so the office is often skipped. I text her ahead of time to let her know and confirm the time she is coming so that maybe I can plan to be out of the office for her to clean it. Their have been multiple times where she tells me one time and shows up over an hour later, still rushing out to make her next appointment in San Ramon - me still paying the full amount. I am one to not one to make a big deal over small things, but today was the beyond forgivable and the last time I will EVER work with her again. I texted her early this week letting her know my husband is working nights and will need to come home and sleep - meaning 2 of the largest rooms needed to be done first or not at all. Trying to figure an alternative solution out ahead of time - the considerate thing to do. She reply's she can be there by 8. My husband got home at 8:30, she was still not at the house, she shows up at 9, and my husband says to not worry about the master bed/bath because he needs to sleep after working a 17 hour shift. She sends me a text asking where "her check is". I reply with saying that I didn't leave one because I was not sure if she would be able to clean the entire house and wouldn't think it would have been the same price, and to please let me know what the price is and I can drop off the check. She immediately calls me, no hello, just in a flat out YELL "you OWE ME $100 because I already cleaned the entire house". She continues on how she was late because she had to drop her daughter at the Charter School now, and how she already cleaned, and my husband said not to worry about it...." She was outrageous, and would not let me get a word in, to the point I had to tell her to "back the F*&^ off, and if she can't talk like an adult, she needs to get out of my house". She tells me shes not leaving until I pay her. I drove back to my house (she has been in my house for an hour and a half), and she is STILL INSIDE my house. She immediately dives right in yelling about how she was late because she had to take her dog to the doctor and that my husband said not to clean the rooms, and that since she already cleaned everything - she is now willing to take only $60 for the day. Wanting her OUT of my house and my house key back, I give her $80 cash for the portions of the house that she said she cleaned. In all honesty, I would have AGAIN paid her in full if she would have just talked to me like an adult/business owner. Instead she was psychotic, lied about her situations and really cleaning my house (see pictures of what it looks like after she says she cleaned). Bottom line, I just paid her $80 to dust/vacuum a portion of my house, yell and lie to me. I should have just paid a locksmith and be done with it. I wouldn't trust her as far as I can throw her. read more

I read the unfavorable review recently posted. I couldn't disagree more with that reviewer. You may note that pretty much all the other reviews are positive and can rely on them. That said, Amanda is terrific. She is friendly, reliable, and truly cares about doing an excellent job of cleaning. Occasionally if she's going to be a little late, she always calls me to let me know. She's never more than a half hour or so late. I have a very old enamel sink that I just can't get clean myself. Amanda always makes it clean and sparkly. Also, Amanda is willing to do more than expected. The grout in our kitchen really needed cleaning. Amanda offered to clean it without my asking and has been doing a good job of it. I have high standards and Amanda meets them.
