There was no exception…read morewhen I decided to hire Lilac Cleaning for a deep cleaning because I wanted one less task to takeoff my to-do list. The owner sold me on expectations (i.e., ceiling fans, baseboards, oven, doors, glass shower, everything would be clean). I asked if there was a preference for having someone home during the clean and was told they would rather clean while you're out which was fine. I had tons of things to do. Nonetheless, I couldn't wait to book the services!!! Initially, I was told she didn't have any openings for today. She later returned and said someone could come out to clean on the day that I requested. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I live in new construction, it's just my daughter and I, and we've only been in the place a year and a half. It's not filthy at all. We honestly could've performed the deep cleaning ourselves and guess what?! This is exactly how it looked when I returned home. I'm beyond disappointed. The owner was very polite and did offer to come out and correct the issue but my trust in what would be done without me being present again went completely out of the window. After several exchanges asking for a partial refund I was sent the following message which I just couldn't accept: "I understand. Unfortunately because I did have a cleaner there and had to pay for the labor I'm unable to comp this clean. Like I said, I'd be happy to come clean it personally, even on a date closer to when you'll be home. I sincerely apologize." My response, "Can you pay the labor and return the remainder?" The refund wasn't even half of what I paid. Needless to say, I'm still on the search for a cleaning company who delivers as promised. I learned a very valuable lesson - Just get up and do it yourself if you have the time, energy, and resources. In this instance, it's okay to be picky. Try out Lilac Cleaning for yourself. We were quoted 3.5 hours for a move-out clean in an empty house, but after only 1.5 hours they said it would take 6 hours. At that point, two cleaners had only completed two bathroom sinks and part of a tub. They also refused to complete some agreed-upon tasks without a clear reason. We ultimately asked them to leave. Poor communication, inaccurate estimates, and minimal work completed. Would not recommend.

Our roof was original to the house and thus 25 years old. It was time to replace it, and after we…read morerequested bids from three vendors we decided on Renfroe Roofing. Our point man was Shane Renfroe, and through the process he kept in contact with us. Their bid was refreshingly within our budget, and we chose the Rustic Hickory architectural shingles. The crew arrived early in the morning, laying tarps and getting items prepped. Our 7am wakeup was when they started removal of the old roof shingles and felt. Through the day they were active and engaged. The crew worked quickly, and were very professional and polite in our interactions. By 4:30 they were in the final stages of cleanup, and by 5 they were done. There were several passes with various magnetic devices in the final cleanup to try to catch as many of the nails and other metallic debris that had fallen during the activity. After they left I made a cursory round of the house and found only 2 nails. The next day my wife spotted a place in our guest room ceiling where the drywall/finish had cracked a bit. We asked Shane to send someone over to take a look at that and a few places where we had spotted gutter guards that had been pushed out of alignment. They arrived within a couple of days, and they after a thorough inspection of the area and the roof above was able to determine that there were no structural issues nor probable leak issues, and that it was just a thin roof/ceiling structure and some incidental movement with people moving around with bags of shingles. They straightened the gutter guards back in place and ran another set of magnet nail catchers around the house a few times just in case. Through the whole process, Renfroe Roofing provided good communication, timely work, and quality workmanship throughout the process. Beyond a few plastic "tags" blown about by the wind they did an excellent job of cleaning the area, and we are very happy with our new roof.

The first company I used was horrible however when I called Maidpro last minute today they were more than happy to fit me in and email me a detailed 49 point checklist of what they would be doing for my full house clean. I can't say enough good things about Paige and Shrellel! They were both really sweet and paid attention to detail. I had mentioned that I was having the house cleaned because of my grandson's 5th birthday party. The house smells and looks AMAZING! They even wrote a note and left it on the counter wishing my baby a happy birthday; how thoughtful!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Maidpro to anyone needing an extra pair of hands around the house! Elizabeth and Lucy were the professionals who came to my home to do my cleaning. I had never used a cleaning service before, but with work demands, I needed the help. They entered my home with masks and asked what I wanted done before getting to work. They were both friendly, professional and detailed in their work. After the cleaning, which was excellent, they had me walk through to make sure I was happy with everything prior to them leaving. My MaidPro professional, Jamie is amazing. Today's service was scheduled as a one time clean but since Jamie did an amazing job we are going to continue with a monthly service. We would prefer to have Jamie each month if possible. She know us now and also knows our dogs and they know her. She was here the allotted time and got everything in. She was very professional and efficient not to mention she was very pleasant. She was able to get those "hidden" spot areas that seemed to always be overlooked by my previous house cleaner.
