I brought a return to this UPS store. It was a red dress from Macys. The package was open when I…read morebrought it into the store bc I didn't have packing tape at home. A young woman working there scanned my package and handed me a receipt. I asked about buying tape so I could seal the package. She said she would seal it. The package came back to me so I assumed it never made it back to Macys. I brought the package to UPS store, got the same young ladies, they said the return label was blank. Called Macys got a new return label brought back to UPS store. Same young woman told me it was the wrong label. I finally opened the package at home and found it was not the red dress it was a cheap tan pantsuit and a note from Macys that the return could not be accepted bc it was not a Macys item. So I'm pretty positive they stole my red dress return and sent the pantsuit back to Macys in its place.

I've been to The Mail Room twice over the past two weeks. I was happy to find a place that was…read moreclose to me. I went to just drop some packages off that were already labeled and to have proof they were scanned into the system, as opposed to just putting them in a drop box. The first time I was a little surprised the place looked so disorganized and dirty. I asked for a receipt and the person at the counter kind of huffed and gave me one. OK... Now tonight I went back and again asked for a receipt for the packages I was dropping off. I was told, by a different person, that they couldn't give me one, they just hand the packages to the driver... I told the person I had gotten one before. The person said it must have been for UPS and again I insisted it was for Fedex. The person just looked at me blankly, doing nothing so I ended up leaving. I just don't have the time for this kind of nonsense. I called Fedex to let them know of the experience. They confirmed I can expect a receipt every time I drop something at the counter. I'm well aware, been working with them for over 15 years. If you want professional service go somewhere, anywhere else.... I honestly don't know how people stay in business and how some people have jobs but never again.

I used to drive 15 minutes out of my way just to go here rather than the closest post office to me. This post office is tiny, the parking lot is tinier, the lines are always long and so is the wait. But that's because Glenn treats every customer like they are his ONLY customer. He gives you his full attention until your transaction is complete. If you want warm personal service, the South Vineland post office is the only place you'll get it every time.

Peek preserve is really cool! It is on a lot of marshland, so I appreciated visiting in winter…read morebecause I imagine there are a lot of bugs in warm months. That said, this is really worth a visit, and is one of Natural Lands' more enchanting properties. I have visited the NJ Pine Barren trails, and am familiar with the landscape. This preserve had the typical hollies and pines, lichens and moss, sandy ground, swampy spots, etc., but the trees grew a bit higher here, and the canopy felt more thinned out, with more sunlight penetrating to the trails. It had a really neat feel. This is a large preserve, so I did not explore nearly enough of it. I look forward to visiting again! There is a gravel parking lot for this preserve. Trails off the lot are well cleared and free of rocks or roots, and are mostly flat. This is a good option for disabled people, young children, and dogs. Pristine clean, like all NL preserves, this was free of litter, and no dog mess anywhere. This was my 19th out of 20 Natural Lands preserves, and I can say, it was one of the top 5 to explore!

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is housed in what was once the haunt of my youth- the old roller…read morerink. It breaks my heart a little bit every time I go there... but go there I do. You can still get great deals at Salvation Army. They even have sales according to the color of the tags. They've got lots of great vintage and retro stuff, as well as a funky selection of housewears. The store is a little shabby, and could use a good clean, but it's AUTHENTIC. Love it.

The store does not provide bags for your purchases, but you can buy a reusable Salvation Army bag for something like $1.25 -$1.50 per bag.
