Sparkle & Junebug is sadly one of only a few outlets in these parts that appears to actually clean and care for its window display and its store shelves both of which are attractive and mercifully uncluttered. Interestingly, despite its small size, the store is airy with plenty of room to look and examine, which shows what one can do with a bit of design effort. The proprietor appears to have a genuine affection for children, girls particularly. I was pleased to find a wide and varied assortment of reasonably-priced sparkle wear for three-year-old who is about to be displaced by a probably rather unwelcome baby brother courtesy her new stepmother. Yes. We felt a bit of bribery might inspire good relations. Happily, if more is required, as one suspects it might be, there is plenty of good boodle here - lace party dresses fit for royalty as well as tasteful child jewels. For a modest $20, I trousered an excellent diadem hair comb, which should assure her ladyship's status as daddy's wee princess for some time to come. It was a relief to be helped rather than mauled by English-speaking sales personnel. The person who attended was both knowledgeable of the modern little girl's secret heart and genuinely helpful. I was especially pleased with the small cloth bag provided for the gift instead of wrapping paper. The only thing missing is a selection of cards appropriate for children but these are now surprisingly hard to come by. My only grumble is that I have only the one female child for whom such purchases may be sought. I shall have to find excuses for return visits. Highly recommended.

I love the lack of stereotypical pinks & blues - traded in for a softer, earthier, more casual looks for kids of both genders. Items are really well organized for easy shopping. Prices in general are very good, but the used items are a particularly great deal. Beansprouts even carries high quality, gently worn shoes. I think you could easily walk out of here with a very nice used outfit for under $20 CAD. The only drawback might be that Beansprouts is for the size 6x and under set - my daughters, 9 & 11, were disappointed none of the offerings would fit them. I was disappointed I couldn't find anything for my 7 year old son - though I'm sure he wasn't!

My wife is recovering, in pain, and breastfeeding around the clock. A proper nursing chair would have made a huge difference during this time. Instead, we have nothing. And no answers. Every time I called, I was told they had "no information" and "no updates from the supplier." How are you selling high-ticket items without having visibility into your own inventory or supplier timelines? How does a company take thousands of dollars and provide zero accountability? No manager reached out. No escalation. No ownership. Just vague responses and indifference. Do not buy from here. They've lost us as customers permanently, and I'll be making sure friends and family know exactly how this was handled. Unacceptable.
