Very good, inexpensive haircut. $23 with tip. Classic old Time, barbershop. When I walked in there was one guy was in the chair and another was waiting. I still got in and out very quickly. It was very quiet because no one felt like chatting. When I got in the chair, the barber struck up a conversation and we had a nice chat. read more

I took my son there to get his haircut, he's a toddler, there were two barbers there and an older man and a bald one. The older man was really nice to us. But the bald guy was super rude. He TALKS MORE THAN HE CAN CUT! The previous customer who had him prior seemed so annoyed of him talking away with another customer who was just there waiting. When it was our turn, he already gave us a nasty vibe. He asked if my son was Hispanic as if it matters, kinda racist. Why would he even ask that? Pulled out my phone to calm my son down because he started crying then he physically pushed my phone away and said I got this. As he was cutting my son's hair, I asked if he could lower on my son's hair in the back and he said "you're asking for too much" to me he just gave me an excuse to not do it, but like seriously? Be for real. When we were done we started walking out and the older man offer my son a lollipop and the bald assh*le said no. I think that barber needs to stop drinking or stop doing drugs because his ego is something else. NEVER coming back. read more

My experience I went in for a straight forward men's hair cut...1/2 inch off and please use sisors..No razors. And the 40 something jive hipster barber rudely stated that he use only clippers and a comb...as sisors take to long and he loses money ? Never again! read more

A traditional, no-nonsense regular barber shop which is walk-ins only, no appointments taken. You just walk in and sit down and wait your turn. They had 2 barbers there on Monday July 16th. $15 for a men's haircut, plus a tip if you choose to give a tip. I liked the way KC cut my hair. TV going with CNN for news while you are waiting. Good air conditioning was a big plus because it was 100 degrees outside the day we were there. read more

On our trip (2-week bachelor party) from LA - Yosemite - Vegas - all the way on historic 66 trough Chicago, we joined Bishop for a stopover and one of us guys liked to get shaved with a razor-blade as well as he needed a haircut. We spend about 1 h at the shop, it was great fun, Victor is a really cool guy, I'd love to hear him talkig, and Matt is a cool guy who did all the cutting and shaving, took him almost 50 minutes. Main St. Barbershop is a great little place and like any good barbershop, the conversations are really humorous, never laughed that much in a barber shop.. This is a really cool old school barber shop. Any place you can sip on a cold Budweiser while you get your hair cut is ok in my book. Great group of barbers shooting the shit and jabbing each other reminds me of my dad's barber shop we used to go to when I was a kid. I'm super particular about getting my hair cut so that's a tough one to grade. My haircut was less than perfect but again, I was on the road and just stopped off to chop the top. What can I say about a barber? You go in, you sit down, they call you up, put the bib on, and proceed to offer a little idle chitchat while they clip away. One look at my profile photo will tell you my particular hairstyle is a pretty easy one. "Use the number two clipper all over, even up the sideburns." That's it. $12 bucks plus tip. It sometimes gets pretty busy on a Saturday morning, but I don't think I've ever waited more than twenty minutes or so. The barbers are always friendly and have a joke or two, and there's a tv to watch while you're being shorn, it's nice and clean, and it's right on Main Street. I have no idea if they're good hair stylists, since I just get a buzz cut every time, so I'll leave the reviews on their styling prowess to others. Works great for me, though! read more

it was clean. 12 bucks for a cut seemed like a good deal. Honestly I would have paid 20 bucks all I ask for is a good haircut. The guy butchered my hair. The only way to fix it is to shave it with a zero clipper. I have a beard and he even managed to screw that up on my sideburns area. I knew better than to walk in here but but against my better judgment I really needed to get cleaned up so now I have a hack job of a haircut. I think a blind man could have done a better job. Oh but wait... Its my fault because my head is crooked according to the barber. See this place.... Keep walking! read more

Scrawny guy wouldn't cut my kids hair because he was scared and crying. He's two, and I've had his hair cut here before by other barbers. Didn't try anything like talking to the kid, just said "Let it grow out until he begs to get it cut" lol, THANKS. I'll just go somewhere else from now on, super frustrating. read more
