This was only our second time in a Sinclair. They have diesel so that was a major bonus! Now our love for all things Dino has begun! There's a large bear with a Welcome to Limon sign in the middle of the gas station that's a perfect photo op. Not to mention Dino out front, more photo ops! The gift shop is attached to the gas station. We were pleasantly surprised being a gas station the prices were very reasonable. They have just as many, if not more souvenirs as the shops in the "destination towns". On our way back through we stopped here again for the last minute Colorado souvenirs. This ended up being one of our favorite shops. After we got home to Georgia and unloaded I wished I had purchased a few more things. I looked their number up online and gave them a call hoping they'd be willing to ship a few things to me. Karen in the gift shop was AMAZING!! She shipped exactly what I wanted the very same day I called!! She sent me tracking and I received my package a few days later. She also attached a perfect little LIMON post card with my order. That's over and beyond customer service! Very sweet lady! I highly recommend this Sinclair gas station, gift shop!!! We will definitely stop here the next time we go to Colorado.

My brother had dreams of catching some trout on our vacation so we ran by here due to its close proximity to the highway and our desire to avoid Denver rush hour to find one. Walking into Vern's was as entertaining as the man behind the counter. Seeing their variety of offerings and then catching a glimpse of him told us right away that this would be fun. He was talking to us about where good fishing could be found and at 78 years old, most of which seemed to have been in this area?, we believed he knew what he was talking about. He was very kind and allowed us to use the employee only restroom since he was the only employee, and helped answer an electronic question my dad had about playing iPod music in the car while he worked on the license. The prices seemed to be somewhat marked up, but not outrageous. It's easy to see that he's probably the only business in this small town to do what he does so may have a corner on the market. Everything was reasonable if put in the context that the next closest town is so far away from here. So, if you find yourself in the middle of Eastern CO and want to get a fishing license or learn a little about the area, this is your place. No real reason to stop but if you need something, this guy probably has it in stock. So try it out and be sure to talk to the gentleman behind the counter.

Her default expression could curdle milk, and her tone makes you feel like you've asked her to hand over a kidney rather than check on your medication. I came in recently to follow up on an inhaler requested two days ago. Brittany barely glanced at me before saying, "Can I help you?" -- the verbal equivalent of a slammed door. After giving my information, she told me they had nothing, then barked, "What are you looking for?" When I clarified, she flatly said a request was sent to my doctor. That was it. No follow-up, no compassion, no sense that she's aware she's speaking to a human being. I stayed calm, because I choose grace -- even when the person across the counter is handing out hostility like it's her signature fragrance. To management: this isn't just about slow prescriptions -- it's about the atmosphere created by the person meant to represent your business. Brittany doesn't just kill the vibe -- she embalms it. If customer care is the face of your pharmacy, you might want to consider a new mirror. Mic dropped. Prescription still pending.
