During our conversation he stated he had approximately 1000 prs of skis in stock. I've been in the ski industry for over 40 years, visited countless shops, been through manufacturer warehouses, so I kind of smiled... thinking "right... a thousand pairs of skis"! I parked in front of the shop. A small, brick faced storefront, with an unobtrusive sign set way up high and a small display window with a few signs visible. Tom was just sweeping a dusting of snow away from the door. After introducing ourselves, we went in. I was in for the shock of my life! Rack after rack of high end skis, every model, every size... Head, Salomon, Atomic, Nordica, Fischer, Elan, Volkl, and more... the racks were full! I was a kid in a candy shop! Race skis, every discipline! Carvers, wide powder skis... Even about a half dozen pairs of Atomic 238cm Speed Skis! I was truly amazed by the quantity, quality, and depth of the product surrounding me! After selecting a couple of pairs I wanted, we toured the entire shop! Needless to say, there were even more skis in storage! I met Bob, Tom's coworker, who does the shipping. I was really impressed how a two man shop handles so much inventory and business! They have a really smooth system down. But they must, given the amount of shipping Tom told me they do! Don't expect dirt cheap, but don't expect full retail either! I thought his prices were rather fair. But most importantly... he has what you want/need! Brand, model, size... he has them! Will I be going back in the future when I need something? Oh, HELL, YES!!!

As a result I called the number to Colorado Discount Skis and reached a man named Tom, who I believe is the owner, to request a cancelation. Tom stated the skis had already shipped which was understandable, however Tom was extremely rude to say the least. Unbelievable how rude Tom was. I stated that I'd ship them back unpacked in the original box as soon as I received them to my residence, and Tom rapidly stated that it would cost me a $200 "restocking fee", and that if I'd read the info contained on his webpage I would have see that clearly written. I waited until I received the skis, and called Tom a second time to let him know of my intentions to ship the skis back to his store. If it was even possible, he may have been even more rude than he was during the first conversation very much berating me verbally while reminding me that yes, if I sent them back, it would cost me $200 so that the amount to be refunded would be what I'd paid minus the $200. If you read some of the other reviews, it's clear that Tom has a history of being unnecessarily rude and abrasive. It's amazing to me with his harsh attitude and demeanor and disposition that he's even still in business. And what is with the $200 fee. Ok I get it. Time is money but that is excessive. Tom is an extremely unpolite business owner to put it lightly certainly by the way he spoke with me. Don't get the intent of my review mistaken. I was willing to suck up the $200 which is absurd in and of itself, but because Tom was so rude and nasty, I didn't trust that he'd ever refund me the difference of what I'd paid minus the $200. Then I'd have to take this extremely rude individual to court which would cost me more than the skis I'd suspect. I'd be out of the money and skis if I dared risk shipping them back. Tom is the most rude business owner I've ever met in my entire life and I'm 62 and retired from Active Duty, United States Army. Tom also told me that I'd better get them shipped back quickly because based on his return policy, my time was expiring. Unbelievable. How corrupt.

Service has gone to hell. They came out in February to fill us up. I've always kept a card on file…read moreto pay the bill and I always call them when I need propane. They sent multiple invoices in one day so I called and paid. I get a statement a month later saying I'm past due along with finance charges. So, I called and gave them my card info again and made sure they sent a receipt. Then they take it upon themselves to come top of my tanks when the prices are high. They were just there... I'll be looking elsewhere for my propane from now on.

They'll lose your credit card info, put your payment on someone else's account, or simply never charge you at all and then send ugly letters! It's a little bit more expensive, but I think professionalism, payment security, and reliability are worth paying for even when broke. So we will be changing to Ed Glazer's monthly plan. In the last 3 years, specific incidents off the top of my head include: - Most recently I had scheduled a fill up. I called on a Friday and was told "They'll absolutely be there next week". When 11 days had passed and still no truck, I called back to find out where our propane was, I was told "It could be awhile, we have a driver out with COVID" which was understandable. Not so understandable was when I pointed out that this has been an issue for years and asked why they hadn't done like ANY OTHER SERVICE COMPANY and called to let customers know about the delay. She said "We don't know which drivers are going where, and I don't have a list of customers to call about delays". Keep in mind, this was the business owner's WIFE/OFFICE MANAGER! It is absolutely unreal that an essential business which people rely on can be that disorganized. She tried to blame COVID for everything (and really, the recent delays make sense, although we have had the same repeating problems for 3 years, so I'm rather doubtful that's the only reason), but COVID does not cause this level of organizational chaos. In this SAME conversation she tried to cite a past-due bill as the reason we didn't have a truck yet. I informed her we had ABSOLUTELY paid for our last fill up and pulled up my bank statement to prove it. It came out that they had APPLIED OUR PAYMENT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT!  The office manager swore up and down that it would be dealt with, and she did give us a 30 cent discount on our fill up, which came out that day. That made me willing to give them one final chance, until I got a mailer today saying that I still owed on that prior fill up which had been put on someone else's account. So I now have to call AGAIN to get them to fix it AGAIN (Hopefully)! - The time I called right after open to pay a bill, being told "I'm not near the computer, let me write down your cc#, expiration date, and security code". When I said I'd rather not and could just call back, she informed me "We always do this with phone payments anyway before we put them in the system". I gave my info and asked to be called when my payment was processed, she never called back. A week later, when I called back to see why my payment hadn't posted I was told "Oh, we never processed this! Can I get all your card info again?" For all I know, the original written slip with my FULL cc info on it is still floating around their office unsecured. - The 5 PRE-COVID times I can remember waiting weeks for a truck after being given a date to expect them by, calling the office about it, and magically having a truck there that day. - Having a truck driver drive by after a snow (after waiting almost 2 weeks for propane, and having to call the office again), not even bother to pull into my driveway, and leave. When I called to ask why he never stopped, they said "He reported that he tried and it was too muddy." When I told them he had never even pulled in and I couldn't wait ANOTHER week with a blizzard incoming, they sent him back. There were 0 issues with my driveway.

Her default expression could curdle milk, and her tone makes you feel like you've asked her to hand over a kidney rather than check on your medication. I came in recently to follow up on an inhaler requested two days ago. Brittany barely glanced at me before saying, "Can I help you?" -- the verbal equivalent of a slammed door. After giving my information, she told me they had nothing, then barked, "What are you looking for?" When I clarified, she flatly said a request was sent to my doctor. That was it. No follow-up, no compassion, no sense that she's aware she's speaking to a human being. I stayed calm, because I choose grace -- even when the person across the counter is handing out hostility like it's her signature fragrance. To management: this isn't just about slow prescriptions -- it's about the atmosphere created by the person meant to represent your business. Brittany doesn't just kill the vibe -- she embalms it.
