Barrett and his team are a joy to work with and were able to digitize my difficult artworks that include gold leaf paint and colour correct accurately for the glare. My original works are 5x7s and the 8x10s look great and the proofs of 11x14s as well. I was given some extra goodies as sample proofs. I also had note card sets made and amazing stickers with a foam core display. Barrett also customized the backs of my cards with a variation on my sticker designs that is super cool and took the time to brand my stickers with my business name. Buffalo Big Print will take the time to get it right and treat your art with respect. I'd recommend them to any artist looking for high quality ink jet prints of their artworks. I wanted to love this place. The shop owner is very friendly and easy going. I had a couple…read moreconcerns at first and I should have gone with my gut. First, there is a cat walking around the shop. For framing, I imagine one would want a cleaner environment. Second, when I showed her the poster and she set it down, the surface she set it on did not look clean and I was worried my poster would get dirty. She pulled down frame samples and set them next to the picture. The colors of the artwork were a bit unusual so matching them was challenging. I asked if I could take down some samples and she had no problem with that, which was nice. In the end, we both agreed one I chose was the best fit. She asked if I needed it in less than two weeks and I said no. She gave me the option of paying half or all. I paid for all of it. Three weeks later, I called to check on my poster. She said she had been meaning to call me, that it was ready. I went to the shop the next day to pick it up. I looked it over and there was a red fuzz under the glass, right in the center under the text at the lower part of the gray and white poster. I pointed it out. She asked if I had a minute. She took a razor blade and cut open the back which had been sealed shut with one solid piece of paper. She pulled out the nails, and swiped a turkey feather under the glass until it was out. She then mentioned she is usually looking for cat hair. New nail holes were put in the wood frame and double sided tape was used to seal the not sliced paper back up. I was mildly displeased but when she said, "That should keep the dust and bugs out" I became distressed. Clearly having a solid back sealed shut is important. I had been so excited to present this gift but now I had a heavy heart. I had to wait a few hours to unveil it because I didn't want my upset to ruin the gift-giving moment. So there you have it. It pains me to write this review because I did want to love this quirky place and if this wasn't the second review, I'd probably give 2 stars. I'm not sure if I should have asked to have the entire back re-papered but I wish she had offered. There are lots of beautiful things in the shop, shadow boxes and other stuff. I'm sure lots of people had great results, but this was my experience.

They are able to custom steel work for just about any occasion. Having done work for local businesses like the Bills, Kiss 98.5, and Mighty, they definitely have made a name for themselves. They do a lot of military tribute items, but my experiences with them has been for custom wedding gifts. I had a lot of weddings this past summer, and every one I brought a custom piece of work from Steel Crazy. I worked with the artist, Dennis, and he came up with great designs that my newly married friends can appreciate for years to come. I did a wide range of steel designs from Disney, New York State, to Buffalos. Dennis and the rest of the team made all of my tough deadlines, and were able to create great pieces within my budget constraints. I'll be a customer of them for life.
