Unfortunately , the home seller paid JC electric in full for work that was not completed. Despite promises to return to complete the job JC electric never showed up. I specifically talked to JC electric and arranged for a time to meet them at the house. Waited and waited and took time off from work. They never showed up and blew me off. No courtesy call to tell me they wouldn't be able to meet me. When I called them they gave a bogus response of having been "sent to another job"--but didn't even have the courtesy to let me know they would not show up. Bottom line: Never pay a contractor in full until ALL the work is done. Half up front and half when completed. JC electric got their money and had no intention of completing the job. Dishonest. Scam artists. They have never called back to set up another appointment. Once they collect their payment all motivation to finish incomplete work goes out the window. Screw them. Never using this firm again. I would avoid them.

These two people stood in front of the heating unit looking at it, and doing nothing more. We asked questions about the system condition, and how to check, and operate it. Neither of m&r's people had any idea what to check, or how to check it. We asked if they had an AMPCLAMP, a meter for measuring current draw. They did not. All they had was a common VOM, which would not tell anyone anything. One of the two simply stood looking up at the machine, saying nothing. We asked the "Knowledgeable" one , who was holding the useless meter, if the circulating pump was running. This kid put his hand on the pump, and said that it was running, which was obvious. M&R charged us over THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for NOT doing what they specifically hired to do. M&R should be ashamed of what they did to an elderly, limited income, couple. This is not a "Shill review", posted by employees, and friends, it is our first hand experience. NEVER HIRE M&R (DIS) SERVICE! One star is far too many.

Fine I asked for an estimate to replace all of them and get it up to date. Wanted little over 5k pluss extras. I was gonna but decided against it. Just wanted to fix the living room lights. Instead spent little over 1k for them to replace 5 sockets and test house. I was gonna do the rest of them. When they left replaced them and still nothing. Then to come find out that they took my fan down in my bedroom and put it back and now 1 light don't work. They also took some siding off and didnt put them back. I had an electrician buddy I work with come out and he found the problem within 30 min. He also didnt charge me anything close to 1k for that. Very disappointed. For everyone here. Get a second opinion before doing ANY work.

DC Electric worked us into their schedule for quick service, showed up on time, and did a great job with a smile! He also helped advise us on light fixture types, where to install new wiring, and outside outlet placement. He even followed between service days to make sure everything was protected and safe while being completed. The cost was quite reasonable, too. We are very satisfied.

He had to return to his shop 3 times to get the correct parts. When I requested a statement he said it would be provided AFTER i had paid? When I asked for a breakdown of the charges he said he could provide that but that he remained on the clock until I had paid. At 2:15 he said he could not complete the job that day, which was filling the hole with dirt, and would return in a couple of days. When I called the office the owner said she had heard about me and dismissed my concerns. I was very dissatisfied with the entire interaction and will not use them in the future.
