He closed on his home in October of 2022, moved in and started enjoying his new home. Unfortunately he ran into a situation this year (2023) that caused him to need to sell after only about 6 short months, we put his home on the market and received an offer. There were a few small items that needed repair and the buyer also had some questions that required a rather detailed response. She was finding conflicting information from various sources and it looked like the deal was in jeopardy of not moving forward. Thomas took care of the warranty items quickly, even returned to the home twice in one day rather than pushing it off to a different day. He was also super helpful providing information to address the buyer's concerns and was able to help her feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase. It's not very common to find people like Thomas, he is an incredible asset for the Hayden Homes team. We are grateful he was the one assigned to us and so thankful that he cared enough to go way out of his way and make sure he did everything he could to help us. This guy deserves a raise and all the recognition you can give him.

These are not minor cosmetic concerns--these are serious, costly problems that no homeowner should be facing in such a new house. When we reached out, Haden Homes repeatedly told us it was "just the house settling" and insisted it wasn't their responsibility to fix. That's unacceptable. Settling does not cause widespread floor failure, plumbing issues, and furnace problems. These point to poor workmanship and low-quality construction. The worst part? They've done nothing to resolve any of it. We've been left with unsafe, unreliable systems and expensive repairs, while Haden Homes refuses to take accountability. If you're considering buying from them, please reconsider. Buyers deserve to know what we've experienced: a company that will happily take your money but disappear when real problems arise. Save yourself the frustration--we wish we had chosen differently.

When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! We could not be happier with the remodel King James Construction did on our house. They remodeled…read morethe bathroom, kitchen, back porch area, and refinished the wood floors in the house. As part of the remodel on the kitchen and back porch they widened a door and took part of the wall down between the former kitchen and dining room. The space is fantastic and completely transformed from what it was. They created more space in the bathroom as well by removing a wall and doing a complete remodel on the space, including a beautiful tiled shower. It looks great and the price was such a great value as Jim really works with your budget. Some of the demo we did and then the construction crew took over from there. The entire space looks and feels completely different. A couple years ago they remodeled our garage and turned it from a leaning 1950's tear down garage into a fantastic area for us to work in. They made the ceiling higher and installed an oversized garage door for us to get larger equipment in and out. The space is fantastic and that's why we asked them to come back and do the remodel on the house. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I highly recommend them for any remodel or a new build.

I contacted King James Construction to come out and bid the job, thinking I would get a few bids and go from there! Upon meeting the owner Jim, I felt extremely comfortable and at-ease with his gentle, soft spoke nature, and decided to move forward instantly. His knowledge of the industry, building codes and county requirements was apparent immediately, and he was very thorough and quick to respond to any questions that we had! We wanted the project completed to specific point and then wanted to finish up ourselves. Jim was more than willing to accommodate our needs! His employees are great, extremely friendly, considerate and willing to let you learn as they go! They are more than happy to take the time to explain what they are doing, what is happening next and field any questions! Our project was completed on time, and within budget. With our decision to complete the finishing details ourselves, we have continued to receive support and advice from King James Construction. Even though they have completed their portion of the job, they have been more than willing to offer advice and suggestions for us as we have worked towards completion! When you hire a contractor, you are not only are agreeing to a job to be performed, but you are inviting people into your home, and into your life for an extended period of time.
