I am a huge sucker for weddings. Even when watching a romantic movie, I would just cry non-stop…read moreevery time there's a very cheesy wedding ceremony. Whenever there's a wedding, it seems that all people (even those who despise each other) just want to get along for the sake of the bride and the groom. For some, it's just an expensive, meaningless, and unnecessary ceremony. But for me, I feel that it's the start of a whole new relationship. It's a sign that a couple is finally ready to take in new responsibilities together. Three months ago, one of my cousins got married to her long-term boyfriend. It was a magical ceremony, but it became even more breathtaking because of the wonderful venue, which is Fernwood Garden. Fernwood Garden looks just like a place that came out of a fairy tale. There were beautiful blossoming flowers everywhere and the sophisticated design of the garden was simply wonderful. Doves and swans that flocked the venue gracefully spread their wings to showcase their ivory-colored feathers. It was a sight to see for sure. I just hope that I'll get married in a place as beautiful as Fernwood Garden (Soon! I am not yet ready LOL.).

And wow, is this place a doozy. If you want to get married (or have any lavish event for that matter) in a romantic setting full of greenery and flowers and fairy-tale realness, I'd suggest you do it here out in the wilderness of Visayas and Congressional Avenues, Quezon City. The place is stunning, from its gazebos, trellises, to its woodsy courtyard and the glass greenhouse prime structure. They even have their own chapel of sorts, with a huge, dramatic crucifix hanging from the ceiling. They've got everything covered here, and you can just start from preparation, get over the marriage part, and finish at the reception all in one location and not get bored with the place at all. I think it can get a little contrived and DRAMA!!! with the British telephone booth, and the American tavern, and the horse-drawn carriages and the swans in the lagoon. But then again, who doesn't want drama on their big day?
