Now they have grown into the most well known, well loved, and popular malls in the country. I've even read that they are also found in China. What makes SM Telabastagan stand out among the other SMs? There are restaurants on every floor, a food court and multiple kiosks selling snacks/desserts/drinks: it seems like there are just as many restaurants as stores for shopping! This is definitely a mall that caters to foodies. Not very big which makes it easy to maneuver. It's got all the essentials: department store, supermarket, movie theater, food court, clean and well stocked bathrooms, polite and helpful staff (the janitor even greeted us), and a transportation terminal that's clean and protected from the elements. I appreciate that it's not busy during the week as other SMs, so hubby and I can shop and dine in peace. You can easily find good deals on both American and Australian products here. They have THE best cakes and cheesecakes! A shopper with a full stomach is a happy shopper, definitely puts me in the mood to buy more. Make sure to have your receipts out as you exit, so the staff can inspect it and your purchases. The property, along with the parking lot, is gated and staffed with security guards: no panhandlers here. Most of the stores were not ones that I had any interest in going into. When you are with a large group, it is easy to get separated, but it was also not that difficult to find each other.
