History

Established in 2023.

I created Make A Splash to allow swimmers of all ages to learn how to swim and advance their technique. Swimming is a lifesaving skill that everyone should know. Since working at the leisure center, I have noticed it's getting harder for children and adults to get into classes to learn how to swim. That's when Make A Splash was born. I believe everyone should know how to swim safely while still having fun in the water. My goal has been to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe in the water. I love seeing my swimmers proud of themselves for reaching their potential. It makes my day! I offer various classes built to suit every need and level. Let's make a splash and have a fun, safe, memorable time. I have my SFA (Standard First aid), NL(National Lifeguard, LI (Lifesaving Instructor), LSI (Emergency First Aid Instructor), BLS (Basic Life Support), Aquatic Supervisor, SEE auditor and many more to come!

Hi everyone, my name is Taryn, and I’m the owner and one of the instructors at Make A Splash Swim School. I have been teaching swimming for almost four years and have produced amazing and confident swimmers. I love seeing my swimmers proud of themselves for reaching their potential. It makes my day! I offer various classes built to suit every need and level.
