I went in to buy a gift certificate in January, and I can't seem to get them to quit charging me a monthly fee when all I did was as a gift. I've called my bank. I've called the company and I'm having a hard time getting this cleared up because they set up some auto charge. 0 of 10 do not recommend. read more

The first makerspace hits Waco with a bang! The equipment is excellent, and staff are friendly and helpful. They will teach you how to use tools and have all sorts of classes from woodworking, metal, digital 3D printing, ceramics, etc.. Baylor students also get some free time here thanks to Baylor Techpoint. This place is ideal for experienced craftsmen( and women) or novices who want to start being creative. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Melissa P.

Melissa is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of MAKER's EDGE, Waco's answer to the DIY makerspace revolution. She and her husband opened a 6000 sq ft facility in the downtown Waco area. Maker's Edge opened its doors in January of 2015 with a vast collection of shop tools, CAD machines and a CNC lab with rapidly expanding list of classes and mentors. The vision is to build a multi-layered environment that promotes learning, innovation and prototyping for all of Central Texas. Maker's Edge will equip technical entrepreneurs, "tool-up" tinkerers and educate and inspire future innovators with our space and classes.

Love this location and the lattes are always delicious…read more Staff is friendly. Location is clean and spacious. Beautiful flowers to buy and chose from while here as well. Bathrooms are clean and there are several of them. Parking is street parking and there are lots of other things to explore before or after visiting Bloom and Pour
