I love that she treats her clients like friends right from the start - so to say she is friendly is an understatement. She was quick to respond to all our questions, and worked with us on moving our wedding with no charge. She came to see the property the day before and even thought it was the first time meeting her in person, I felt like we had been friends forever and I was just seeing her in a long time. On the day of she was AMAZING. She not only took the best photos, but worked with the videographer (who she had never met) seamlessly. Because my husband and I felt some comfortable with her, our pictures turned out stunning. I also love that she was giving us little tips throughout the day, she's been to tons of weddings and knows, so at 8 when dancing started, I loved that she reminded me to go dance with my husband and family (instead of talk to everyone) so they can get some fun dance floor pictures and these are a beautiful work of art. She delivered the sneak peeks within A WEEK and it wasn't just 10 photos it was 45 photos! Then send delivered the rest of our gallery before the end of the month!!! I though I was going to have to wait a while to see all the photos but I was crying at how beautiful all the pictures were in no time. I've never had professional photos taken with a significant other before and I was a bit nervous, but reached out to her for our engagement shoot and possibly our wedding as well. She was very enthusiastic but also forthcoming from the start about her style and philosophy of wedding photography, but when we met with her on Zoom, I knew I wanted to book her! My (now) husband was happy if I was happy. ;) We did our engagement shoot at one of our favorite locations, Coronado Beach, and it was really fun! We had a bit of a rocky start due to some personal challenges the day of our shoot, but Amanda was kind and flexible with us and caring about our needs that day. She made us feel very comfortable right away and it was just really FUN!! I loved how our photos were shot very natural and not all posed like. We got some really really gorgeous beach photos and I think she really captured the love AND the silliness we share. The sneak peak came really quickly, and then the entire gallery was so special. Our Balboa Park wedding was 2 1/2 months after our engagement shoot and we had a wonderful experience with Amanda and her assistant that day. Amanda joined my bridesmaids and I while we were getting ready, and she didn't bat an eye when we were being very ridiculous and silly. She rolled with it and those laughing and "awkward" photos are some of my favorite pics from the day! I'm so grateful for the wonderful way that Amanda captured our wedding day. I've recently been looking through those pictures and love the moments she captured. Recently, we've hired Sarah for our Christmas card photos. Every year, it's my husband, me, and two dogs. My French bulldogs are not very focused, but Sarah worked easily with them and took really memorable pictures. Sarah also holds sessions for Disney Dapper Day - if I had kids, this would be an awesome photo shoot. Sarah is a great photographer, and she's also a joy to work with. She is sweet and kind but will also be honest about what poses/colors/lighting will and won't work. I'm so glad to have worked with her and can't wait for our next session.
