She told me that my red hair is very bright and that she didn't carry my particular shade of red, and that it would be hard to duplicate. I thought that was a little strange, but, okay. Can't it be ordered? She also told me my shade red is hard to maintain. That I already knew. Red/Auburn is a very high maintenance color. I could be wrong, but I got the impression from when I met with her for a consultation that blonde color/blonde highlights are more her thing. And if you look at her Facebook page, you'll see many gorgeous pictures of clients with blonde hair/blond highlights. Or it could be that she didn't want to take me on as a client? Hopefully, not the latter. : )

The one I showed her was more of a straight lash and she put on me a curled lash. Then the picture showed more eyelashes and different lengths of eyelashes. Then she put on me. When I called her to tell her, she made some excuse that other people in other places can buy different lashes that she can't buy. That is so untrue. Anyone can buy different shape lashes. She just buys one shape of lash, which is the c curl. I am very disappointed in her services and I will not be going back. She wasted my money and my time and now I have to have somebody fix this. She should've told me that she could not do what I showed her in the picture to begin with, and I would not have stayed. For 100 and some dollars I have sparse eyelashes that look nothing like what I wanted.

Threading is all about skill, and Yon clearly is top of her class. Her studio is in the basement of an office complex, not quite 'posh,' kind of like sitting in someone's living room (Judge Judy was even on in the background). First thing she does is examine your face and profile -- analyzing your facial structure and what eyebrow would look best on you. She immediately identified certain areas that needed a little improvement. She then goes to work with her thread and tweezers. At the end of the experience, she took out her eyebrow pencil and drew areas that she wanted me to grow out to to "remodel" my brows. I was impressed. She didn't once explain the product she was using or why (just the tool that she was using) or examine my skin prior to working on it. Huh? Shouldn't you want to use product and ingredients based on my skin and not just what I think I may need? In the middle of the facial she used what seemed like a paper towel to wet my skin and it dripped in my ear the whole time which was annoying and not super professional. The skincare products were incredibly drying to my skin and smelled DISGUSTING. I was just excited for it to be over and it was clear this was just about their tools. Then on the way out they tried to tell me I owed them $50 and we went back and forth while they tried to tell me the date I was in there and with whom. After I finally said I've never in my life been here but will pay you your $50 they decided to verify my phone number and name and said "oh sorry I clicked the wrong name". Listen we all make mistakes but this place is unprofessional and clearly here for profit not because they care about skin health. Their cheaper prices represent the quality.

I learned a lot, and had a lot done, taking closer to an hour than the 25 minutes planned, which was totally fine with me (she asked to make sure)! My skin is very sensitive, and I had some small scratches afterward that healed in 2-3 days. My skin is still very smooth 2 weeks out, so I can tell the exfoliating and other procedures really made a difference. Definitely recommend trying it out!
