This is a great place to book your wedding party hair styles / makeup! It is a very lovely , professional salon! We booked my daughter's wedding party to get hair and makeup done there. Not only did we end up with lovely hair and makeup, but they gave us a " chillin out space" where, for a small clean up fee, we could bring in Mimosa's and snacks. They even gave the wedding party space to change in unused massage rooms, so we could go directly to the wedding afterwards. Everyone looked gorgeous and the bridal party felt very pampered! I have been visiting this salon for hair cuts and facials since 2013. They provide haircuts/styling, facials, mani/pedis and (I'm sure )more services I haven't taken advantage of yet. I don't know about you but customer service will make or break my decision to revisit a business. At Copper Pin the customer service is consistently friendly and they always jump to get you in the chair. I have seen a few different stylists but the last two years I have settled in with April. She's phenomenal! As a naturally coily/curly headed gal, I've found it challenging at times to find a stylist I trust in Omaha. April is always has helpful recommendations on what I should (and shouldn't do) based on my hair goals. Thank you! As far as facials, I admittedly haven't gotten one in a couple of years but when I did...when I say my skin glowed and felt like satin...that's an understatement. I had Jess as my stylist. This is the first time I've gotten a haircut since I've moved to Nebraska and myself and my hair a thankful to have picked an AMAZING PLACE! The service was excellent, she was warm and would engage in conversation but didn't force it and let me relax which is awesome. It's always nerve racking going to a new place but all staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. My consultation was thorough and my cut turned out exactly as I had hoped. Beyond the consultation, my stylist periodically checked it to make sure I loved the cut and offered options for adjustments even AFTER I was dry and styled! Needless to say I loved it and will be returning. read more

Angela was the stylist I went to...bad decision. I left with nothing good to say about my experience. My haircut is AWFUL so uneven. This is the WORST haircut I have gotten. Looks like I cut it myself. She was also rough with brushing and blowing drying my hair. Won't be returning EVER again. Save yourself from this expensive bad haircut. read more

This is the worst salon I have ever been to. I booked a brazilian blowout and the first thing she asked me was "do you want it permed or still be able to wear your hair curly"... a brazilian blowout wouldn't perm my hair. At that point I should've left. She started my sectioning my hair and she was just ripping at my hair. Didn't try to derange it from the bottom to top. Then she proceeded to "blow dry" my hair and it wasn't doing anything because she wasn't using heat. She said that is the way it's done, but I've gotten a brazilian blowout before and they used heat. Then she tried to straighten my not so blow dried hair and it took a million passes. She asked me so "are we taking a little off the ends" to which I said yes because why not if it's usually included in the service. SHE CHARGED ME $60 ON TOO OF $300. Im 18 and I've never gone to this salon and she didn't tell me it would be extra. Then, my hair frizzed up as soon as I got into my car (which your hair is supposed to be frizz resistant with this treatment) So the thing that I booked didn't even work. Overall my experience here was that they are untrained to work with curly, black people hair. Very unprofessional to not say that up front because I would have rather been turned away than to have gotten charged $360 for a horrible blow drying job. I wish I knew this place sucked before going $360 (+$60 tip because Im a people please) in the hole. read more

Disclaimer: I only had nails done and read fabulous things about haircuts/ hairstyle. We had made an appointment but waited for at least 15 minutes before our manicurist was available. Specifically told her it was a special occasion that will require photographs. She did a fair job recommending the color. But it all went downhill from there. The nail polish was at the end of its life and it was thick and goopy. She was layering it on. I had mentioned there were air bubbles and you can see the lines. There was a blob of just extra thickness on one of my finger and she said it would just dry and even out... Oh and the price for a poor job... Needless to say, most of the nail polish was "shedding" off since it was so thick within an hour of it being done. Well, let's just say I kind of wish I did it myself. I unfortunately cannot recommend it and will not be going back. read more

Nice enough people but the girl I went to ripped through my freshly bleached hair breaking it and bleached my hoodie.

I was excited to get my hair colored here, because my first experience at this salon had gone so well; I literally got one of the best haircuts I'd ever had in my whole life. I had been coloring my hair a darkish brown-red but it was getting difficult to maintain. I wanted highlights so that my grey hair would not be so noticeable when it was growing in. I was coloring my hair at home at least once a week because of grey roots. I thought I communicated this idea to my stylist, which in all fairness, maybe I just didn't stress this point enough. I wanted to get an overall lighter color with some bright, blondish highlights. However, I got the same dark color as I got out of the box at CVS, with a minimal amount of extremely subtle highlights. No one in my apartment complex even noticed that I got my hair done. When you pay nearly $200 to get your hair done, it's very discouraging. And it seemed like the highlights were only on the top part of my hair; the underneath part was super dark still. The worst part of all was that a mere week later, my grey roots were showing again! I expected the color to last longer. So I had to go back to using the $5.00 boxes of hair color again. I was really hoping that my stylist would gradually lighten my hair with each subsequent visit until it was nearly blond, but I don't think I will go back there now. I just feel sick that I wasted so much money for nothing. read more
