Angela was the stylist I went to...bad decision. I left with nothing good to say about my experience. My haircut is AWFUL so uneven. This is the WORST haircut I have gotten. Looks like I cut it myself. She was also rough with brushing and blowing drying my hair. Won't be returning EVER again. Save yourself from this expensive bad haircut.

The classroom space had a wonderful ambience with high ceilings, beautiful wood floors, and recessed lighting. I notice they still offer yoga classes as well as Tai Chi, mindfulness meditation and Qigong. There is a small gift shop upon entering with many unique items and a tea bar offering a variety of medicinal herbal teas. The OM Holistic Clinic provides physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, reiki, aromatherapy, and many other alternative therapies. This beautiful space is also available to rent and can be used as a visual and performing arts space or reserved for a workshop, meeting, wedding, or other special event. I have attended several art openings or poetry readings here in the past. With a professional kitchen, it can also be used to host an elegant special occasion dinner. More details about everything they have to offer available at their website. This place is truly a gem in the heart of the Old Market!

Being less traditional than many of her peers we decided that a more spiritual place would be more in line with representing her soul. OM Center stepped up and was more than happy to help. Much more fair in price than $750 the funeral home wanted and we were even allowed to bring in our own food. When we arrived we noted the gentle storefront and soothing tea area, but what struck me the most was the spacious area that was hosting the private event. At our disposal that night was a full size kitchen with large Stainless Steel appliances, a large counter/bar area for serving, linens, tables, and chairs. I was able to tweak the lighting to showcase what I wanted to and it really felt perfect. I know I was being looked upon with smiles from wherever Momma is hanging out these days. A large showing of old friends, family, co-workers and neighbors came to celebrate and there was enough room and warmth for us all. I would love to have another event at the OM Center, just maybe a bit more on the lighter side of things

I looked at a few yoga classes around my hotel and landed on "community acupuncture" as my self care of choice today. This was my first acupuncture experience and I enjoyed it. I ended up being the only person for community acupuncture but I think with other people, it still would have been a great introduction. Janice took amazing care of me (she mentioned the new moon which was something I was thinking about). She took great care of me and I truly enjoyed this experience of reflecting and some release (i shed a few tears during the "session") I came feeling chaotic and worried, I left feeling more centered and cared for. If youre new to acupuncture, I would recommend Janice and the community acupuncture. It's all going to be okay. Now put some needles in my ears.

I purchased a Groupon a while back for 4 yoga classes at this studio. I belong to another studio here in Omaha, but what attracted me was the aerial yoga classes they offered. I've done aerial yoga before, but never in Omaha and I was excited to see it offered here! The space is super clean and serene feeling. You feel like you're in a meditation area, as opposed to a gym, which I love. Big glass windows adorn one wall, so when you practice, you're staring out downtown. Exposed brick walls give the space a modern, yet cozy feeling. The studio itself a pretty small space -- for aerial yoga, only four people can sign up per class. I really liked this though ... it created an environment where we were all encouraging one another and laughing as we moved through poses. Aerial yoga can be challenging, and so having fun with it is important! Karen is the instructor for aerial yoga and she is great. Her voice is super calm and relaxing, and she's really great at helping you through the poses, regardless of how well you can do each one. I leave every class energized, but also sore... it's definitely a workout for your upper body!! There's free parking, which is awesome -- especially downtown. After class, I usually pop over to the new cute coffee shop next door for a coffee or a quick bite to eat. It's all connected, and feels very welcoming. Natural Therapy also offers a lot of other services besides yoga, and after visiting the studio and interacting with the employees, I'd be interested to see what else they do! The only con I have is that for aerial classes, you have to call in advance to sign up. I wish you could do this online, because I've spent a lot of time, calling and calling and calling when no one answers. I've had to leave voicemails (that don't always get returned), and sometimes it becomes a hassle to sign up for class. Other than that though... definitely check this place out!
