The Diamond in the Ruff website caught my attention as I read her no punishment technique. After speaking to Colleen, we decided that a private class would suit us best. And I can say it was well worth it. We learned so much but the most important lesson for us was emergency recall. Our dog is 2 years old and we adopted a second. Both LOVE chasing jackrabbits and are distracted by squirrels. They come flying back after a few minutes when we use our word 'boomerang', to get their favourite treats. I also appreciated her recommendations on socialization. Hunter was very intimidated by children and strange things on familiar people. His bark is very intimidating. Colleen walked us through techniques to desensitized him. He now is able to look to us for direction. We have and would recommend Colleen to anyone who asked. The private lessons were perfect for us but Colleen or her assistant can help decide what will work best for you.

I had my cat boarded here in August of 2012. The owner, Marilyn, was very helpful and friendly during communication before I had my cat boarded there. Unfortunately, it seems as if as soon as she had my business, she didn't feel the need to follow through on what she said she was going to do. She said she would put my pet in a room with a window (which she did not do). She also said my cat would be able to go outside with the other cats up to eight hours a day. Since my cat is an indoor/outdoor cat who thrives with being outside, this was the only reason I boarded him here. She also said if he was shy around the other cats she would let him outside on his own at night. Marilyn also said she would give me 'regular updates' about how my cat was doing. None of these things were followed through on. When questioned, she would not admit that she had promised these things (even though I have emails proving the opposite) and claimed that my cat was 'too anxious' and 'untrusting' and therefore would not be allowed outside. I believe that she did not show him any affection or one on one attention and he was neglected and left in a room by himself for two weeks. For a very social cat, this would be very difficult. Anyway, just wanted to let people know to be careful with this business. It seems like they are too busy to give the animals the proper care and attention they deserve and that their customers are paying for.

Desk worker assured me scissors would be used. I booked an appointment, showed up and reminded the groomer he's never used a clipper, and I didn't know how he would react, and if it is not good he is used to scissors so that would be fine. She assured me that was fine. I come to pick up my dog and the groomer says he acted poorly to the clippers (surprise) and she had to get her assistant to hold him down to finish. My dog looked terrified with his tail between his legs. I had double checked and was assured by the groomer proper care would be taken, and they obviously had no idea what they were doing. Even threatened that if I came in again it would be an extra 10$ for the second person. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My groomer was Zoey, she was so friendly and my dog Lychee instantly loved her. We had a nail, bath and grooming done, the results are so good that I'm probably going to come back for more. My dog feels extra soft, his nails are so much better and he is so happy. I also met the owner Scott and he was very helpful and gave really good information about when I should bring my furbaby back. It's recommended nail trim per month, also for grooming it really depends on the breed, most dogs average around 4-5months for grooming. With certain breeds like my American Eskimo that has a double layer of coat, it's best to come during the Spring and Winter when they shed the most. I also got a tour of the facility, very great that they have separate washing stations for each pup as well as groomong stations. Each groomer once booked with your pup will be schedule with the same groomer each time so that your pup builds the relationship and feels comfortable. Average grooming time took about 2 hours. I'm so happy with the results I'm definitely coming back for sure! Make sure you check this place out for coupons, because a deal is a deal especially with such great service it's worth coming back.

I can understand it's not easy to estimate the level of matting, and they had to trim him down completely. All good up to this point. But when I went to pick up my doggo, I was charged $60 extra for dematting!?!?!?!? As per their policy stated in one of their reviewer comments(Dark Wolf), "we trim short if there is lot of matting, we do not demat. Our policy is humanity over vanity, " but it's ethically correct to charge for something which is against your policy when you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.!?!?!? Just because you can charge the client and gouge money... HORRIBLE.. I am never coming back and making sure to share my experiences with every dog owner I know.

They did double charge me, called me on my cell phone to refund the money. I'll definitely be back, how can I go elsewhere? There isn't anybody better. I called a few places, and "they saw rabbits" but didn't have rabbit savvy. I see my own rabbit, I don't need anybody to "see my rabbit" unless you're trained to be rabbit savvy. This is the only place I can find a rabbit savvy vet, and it's awesome.

She also never smells (like after the dog park) and has never come home sick. Mutts Adored has been a lifesaver with a new baby at home. They also board overnight and are flexible, helping out last minute. Best of all, they post pictures online every day so you can see what your pup was up to!! HIGHLY recommend to anyone and their doggies!
