I told Ron I think that was his name we wanted a 2 on the sides and keep it long at the top. I usually don't bring him so I went off what my husband usually ask for. And Explained to him my son had a cowlick and he understood and could do it. When he started cutting he was going very quickly and as I was watching him he was leveling with the clippers and comb he missed the comb and buzzed a part of my sons hair at a high point but DIDN'T tell me just proceeded to cut his hair as if it didn't happen...also it was at a super high point for a two so what did he do.... Kept going higher up on his head. It all started going down hill from here he just started buzzing away another associate walked by and shook her head a the situation which at the point I asked if he was sure he was cutting it at the right length he said yeah do you want to check? When he got to the top part, I mentioned I wanted to leave it long, but enough to where it was out of his face. He started cutting away to the point where there was no return. He couldn't get it right. The back was sticking up it wasn't even and He had to ask for help. The lady came over tried to fix my son's hair, but it was too late. It was so uneven and they tried to blame it on my son's cowlick saying he had one in the back. But I've never had this problem in all his life. Absolutely unprofessional of them honestly so I just asked for them to stop cutting I paid and left and still tipped even though I felt it wasn't deserved. This location definitely needs more training.

After spending a good amount of time reading comments- good and bad- I decided to go with David. I'm very disappointed. My hair is a very simple, shorter bob- it had grown out and need to be cleaned up. I was look for a simple but sassy look. I went in with several pictures so that he would have an idea of what I was open to- he dismissed the pictures and told me he knew exactly what to do. This is the worst hair cut I have had in nearly twenty years. I can't decide if he was just being lazy,maybe because my haircut didn't offer much for his creativity,or if he lacks technical skill. He 'stacked' my hairline in the back but did so without blending, so now I have a very heavy hair line in the back, that curls and separates from the rest of my hair. Luckily, it's not so bad that it won't grow out soon enough and I'll start my search for a stylist again. Reviews for David point out how funny he is, and I will say that he has a pretty solid stand up routine going on. Lesson learned.

When my appointment came up, I was greeted by Justin Boone, who became my barber for the day. He promptly seated me, asked thoughtful questions to match my style, and then did an amazing, stylish beard trim with great care and precision. So, I pulled into the parking lot and walked in. I was immediately greeted by Angelica, who was busy coloring another customer's hair. I thought it couldn't be worse than the "Sports Clip" cut that I got 3 weeks prior. I sat down with Sonya Blade aka Sonya Nieves (Lofty name to live up too). She looked at the disaster of my hair for a minute, and I knew - she was a professional. Unlike the fast-food of barbers, Sonya took the time to look at my hair and my request. She wasn't simply cutting my hair, she was fixing someone else's problem. Sonya gave me a mid-drop bald fade, and fixed the top part where my hair could grow out and recover. Her knowledge and listening skils were so top-notch, I asked to get my eye brows waxed. And surprise, surprise, she knocked this one out of the park. While the price was higher than "Sports Clips," you received a much more robust experience. It was worth every penny, and if I lived in that city, she'd be my barber for life. Had a negative experience ealier today. Took my son to get a haircut and came to Lady Jane right…read morebefore closing time at 5:53pm on 6/12, to be exact. Yes, I know, that's only 7 minutes before closing time (and I don't feel very proud about that), but my son needed a quick trim, and nonetheless, we showed up during posted working hours. I was expecting the whole thing to take about 10-15min tops, be out the door by 6:10pm and leave a big tip for the "trouble". But, we walked right into a locked door instead! After I knocked, a stylist eventually came out and was very rude and unprofessional, telling me that they take last appointment 30 minutes prior to closing. I asked why this wasn't posted on their store front, to which I got some more mean responses. What's worse is that when I asked for the manager, someone came out who introduced herself as "Emily" and was even ruder than the stylist and lacked any professional courtesy or customer service skills (she also claimed that she was the owner of this location, but later said that it's corporate-owned and not a franchise. Why lie?) Emily compared this incident as us showing up at a restaurant a few minutes before closing and asking for food. Guess what? A restaurant would most definily serve and sell food, as long as the kitchen is operational...and many restaurants allow customers to stay way past closing time to finish eating and socialize, so this was a bad comparison, Emily. I also couldn't find this "last-appointment-30-minute-prior-to-closing" rule signage neither on the door or on Lady Jane's website when I pulled it up on my phone. And, even if you have such a policy, why not just say that you close at 530pm instead of 6pm and take your last appointment at 530pm? Why mislead and decieve people with "WALKIN ANYTIME" written in giant letters on the window of the store and have your hours postes on Google Maps as being open until 6pm when you actually shut your doors way prior to that posted time? Very disappointed and will stay away from LJ and will share my bad experience with others. Hope you're happy to have lost customers.
