Remembered this little spot with 60s decore and waitresses with Singapore airline uniforms. anyways ordered the CKT, sambal balajan kangkong and their version of the wat tan hor (egg chiffon gravy flat rice noodles).
CKT - maaaan it was good. Haven't had it this good since Malaymas. Then recalled Malaymas using bits of fried lard and what do you know these guys did the same! Very bad for u but maaaan was it tasty!
Wat tan hor - hmmm not bad not bad. will I order again - Yep. Had more than enough seafood and portion size.
sambal kangkong - maybe was a bad day at the market. The kangkong was old and chewy. too salty as well. read more
