Juat a few weeks ago, I had a chance to attend a play at this theater and had a really good experience. First off, if you have not yet seen Misery- you must! For starters arrive a little earlier to ensure you have time to visit the gift shop (proceeds go directly to the theater) or using the facilities. The theater is not super big but I kind of like that- no bad seats, in my opinion. There is ample free parking and ushers available to direct you to your seat, if needed. I'll be on the lookout for more opportunities to enjoy a show at this venue. Oh, they also offer theater classes for all ages! read more

First off, the new gift shop is great. Can't wait to see the merchandise for the holidays. Just saw "Misery" last night. It was fantastic. I felt like I was watching it on Broadway. The acting was incredible and engrossing. The set was over the top in realism, lighting, special effects and ingenuity. Grade A+ read more

Been coming here for almost a decade and the shows are amazing. They cast the best and when they do , I leave astonished. Will be back again for a spring time show and literally can't wait. Just saw Once and it had me loving every minute. Saw the performance of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express with my family. It was a great performance. The theater is nice and clean, and while not small, it wasn't huge, and all the seats were good seats. We saw an afternoon matinee. And while the show appeared to be close to being sold out, it didn't feel overly crowded. The cast did an excellent job, and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. Staff was cheerful and friendly. Would definitely come back for another performance. read more

Great local venue formerly known as The Burt Reynolds Theatre. Really not a bad seat in the house. They feature a new play every month . Had Beautiful in January, Plaza Suite in February and will have 42nd Street coming up. Tonight we saw a Bee Gees cover band that put on a great show. Plenty of parking and conveniently located. read more

The Maltz Theatre offers great seats from wherever you are. As other reviewers have notes, it doesn't seem that there's a bad seat in the house. Prior to the show, they set up a makeshift bar with some packaged snacks. It would be nice to have a more formal bar area with seating, as many patrons have to stand around with drinks prior to the show. Otherwise, this is a great place to see a show! read more

We attended a production of A Christmas Carol this week and it was a great kick off to the holiday season. We haven't been to the The Maltz since it's renovation and it is beautiful. A nice lobby, bar and theater. There were plenty of ushers to seat you. While we had great seats, I feel almost any seat would have pretty good views of the stage. The production was impressive. Beautiful sets and costumes and the cast was very talented with just as impressive resumes. A standing ovation closed the evening. We will be back. read more

This theatre affords an opportunity for those individuals that enjoy watching shows on Broadway NY. The theatre seating layout provides clear view from any seat. We sat in the last row behind the Green Room Seats and enjoyed our viewing very much. The Green Room is a closed in three row seating area in the rear of the theatre with a private entrance up a staircase to a private lounge. We had previously seen a show on the Green Room level and enjoyed the quiet lounge that had a bar for refreshments. read more

Not sure what is going on at Maltz. I know that Covid has made it difficult for many businesses. I am a season ticket holder with 5 other friends. Since our annual membership was put towards the 2022 season, and we will not be available to attend, I have requested a refund by phone, email, and US Mail. The Post Office sent me a notice that Maltz is not claiming their mail, and mine was returned. No word from email or phone call either. Does anyone know what is happening there? read more

Worst customer service ever. My parents who live in Jupiter were visiting me in Chicago for Christmas. Last minute, my 82 year old father wanted to get something special for my mother. My daughter would be visiting her for New Years and after research I found their AbbaMania show. Abba is special for my mother and daughter as they used to dance around to them when she was little. However, as this was a surprise, my father did not know they could not make the 5:00 show and tried to switch their tickets to the later show (which had plenty of unsold seats). The theatre refused and when I posted about it on their social media they took down my comments. So extremely disappointed. read more

We have been attending shows at the Maltz for the past 6 years. Most of the shows and performances are excellent and superbly produced. Some shows have not fit my personal taste but they were also well acted. Broadway theatre in a small theatre setting gives an experience that people can enjoy. This theatre should be on everyone's list. That's probably why most of the shows have been sold out. read more

we went to the advertised "Tribute to The Big Bands" expecting to hear "big band music" but instead it was a shappy tribute to "movie songs?' At best it was a poor imitation that one would expect at a high school band recital. It was awful. The arrangements were amateurish.At least 2 arrangements were played at the wrong tempo and the solos were not the same as the song. If that wasn't bad enough, there was this boring man who wasted time in between songs playing "can you name that tune". It was my first and last time at the Maltz. We frequently go to the Lyric in Sturat and the Kravis Center. We have always been reluctant to go to the Maltz suspecting "amateurish" productions.
