The recliners are incredibly comfortable and fully adjustable, so fair warning: if you're watching a slow drama, you might drift off into dreamland. I personally stick to action, comedies, or anything upbeat just to stay awake in those comfy seats. Yes, tickets cost a bit more than a standard theater, but in my opinion, it's worth it. The theater is clean, well maintained, and offers an extensive menu with plenty of food options, sodas, plus alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, along with classic popcorn, and candy. The temperature is always just right, and the service is great. A server comes by before the movie starts to take your order, and your food and drinks arrive once they're prepared. If you need a refill or anything else, just press the call button at your seat and someone will be right there. Another plus: there are bathrooms conveniently located , which makes it easy to run out quickly without missing too much of your movie (which I did in WICKED). They are also ADA compliant making it comfortable and accessible for everyone. If you're looking to make your movie experience feel a little more special, this is the place to go.

When I let our waitress know, she mentioned the seat was "supposed to be marked off," which was confusing since I purchased the tickets about a week in advance and there was no indication of an issue at the time. It was also pretty warm inside the movie theater. We purchased bottomless sodas, but after requesting a refill, we waited over 30 minutes and never received one. Even after following up, no refill came, and I ultimately had to leave the theater to go to the concession stand and causing me to miss part of the movie. Our food arrived halfway through the movie and was noticeably cold, as if it had been sitting out for a while. I've always enjoyed Cinépolis for the premium experience, which is why this visit was disappointing. Between the broken seat, lack of service follow‑through, and food quality issues, the overall experience did not meet expectations.

My girlfriend suggested I pay for the VIP tickets and told me it would definitely be worth it. Unfortunately, where we were sitting at the high tables near the stage wasn't the greatest view. The speakers were blocking a lot of the show and it was extremely annoying and disappointing. What's the point of paying for VIP tickets if I don't have the best view in the room!? We were talking about going to another show but I'm not paying $30 for taking that risk of maybe getting shitty seats. The security was definitely on point, there's also a cop who I personally thank for being there. There was a disruptive man who is causing a bit of a problem and security put him in check. For starters arrive a little earlier to ensure you have time to visit the gift shop (proceeds go directly to the theater) or using the facilities. The theater is not super big but I kind of like that- no bad seats, in my opinion. There is ample free parking and ushers available to direct you to your seat, if needed. One of the cashiers at the concessions was a real winner, screaming directions at people with nothing but attitude. The entire experience was unacceptable. This was a showing of the last episode of Stranger Things on New Year's Day. The episode buffered several times. I think that's unacceptable. My internet at home is superior to the theaters? Odd. But it was the icing on the cake. CMX Gardens Downtown used to be very nice. Now it's sub par. The management should be ashamed of themselves running an establishment into the ground like that.
