It's not a pizza place, they have pizza on the menu though, but more like an Italian trattoria: great atmosphere with calm background music you would expect in Italy, great food - they even have Beef Carpaccio which I find is hard to find here - and typical Italian food for all three courses. We have a good place for pizza in town, but this might be our future place for everything else Italian. If you want to be really picky there were two minor things only: service was slow to take our order (but there was water on the table pretty fast) and our anniversary was not recognized (what many other places do). read more

Given it a couple of chances now and won't be back, service was terrible we sat with our starter plates on the table all night they were not cleared away till we finished our desert I don't know about you but where I come from that's a no no. We were never offered a second drink or coffee, he just brought the bill. We ordered seafood pasta all my seafood was in shells it might look pretty on the plate but that's all I don't want to put my hands in my food and start peeling my seafood that's just gross. And if you're doing this why don't you have finger bowls. It was very noisy in there and you a foot away from the person on the next table. I want to have a private conversation the the person I'm with not have everyone else listen in not like I've got any thing to hide but I'm sure you know what I mean. read more

This is a lovely little gem hidden behind the typical to-go chain restaurants in a newer area of Cochrane. There's lots of seating (booths & tables with chairs), nice natural light from all the windows (& the actual lights above tables aren't triggering for migraine eyes) with a calming presence. You order up at the till (or possibly if slow the menus will be brought to you) & then sit where you want. It's a good strategy as you oggle the beautiful looking desserts before ordering your meal. Service is quick & food good (I overheard several people really enjoying their early lunch meals while eating my late breakfast too). The breakfast sandwich comes with a very generous size of side of fruit. the white chocolate mocha is wonderful to enjoy with breakfast. I appreciated that I could sit to eat my breakfast & then take my cake slice to go. I'll definitely be back when passing through Cochrane. read more

Excellent food and service. One of the best Italian places that I've been. We ordered two Panuozzo's Doliablo and Chicken Parm in the deli / cafe side and they were massive. Loads of flavour and made with their homemade pizza dough. I'd recommend sharing one. We took two halves home. The minestrone soup was best I've ever had. read more

Food was amazing! Our server was so sweet and was so patient with our son who asked for KD for supper ‍. They had colouring pages for kids. Wine list was nice. Loved all the eclectic photos and licence plates hung around on the walls as decor. stopped into the Cafe area for a quick lunch, just a bowl of soup. paid $15 or $16 for a Diet Coke and 2 soup. Came out. . cold and only one soup not two as well it wasn't the kind of soup we had been told. 10 to 15 minutes later two soups both warm this time and both good. But wait " Sir , sorry we only charged you for one soup. Soup is $11.00 each for a medium size bowl. So $27 for 2 soup, 1 pop and a small 10% tip. We eat out 3 to 4 times a week this was poor value and cold soup. read more

This is a little gem of a restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. Order the antipasto platter for 2. It was a generous amount of meats, cheeses, olives and bread. Very good. The mussels were amazing. They're in a rich red sauce with Italian sausage with a little spice. Mussels were cooked perfectly. Also ordered the linguine vongole. It had possibly the most clams I have ever seen in this type of dish. Loads of flavour. The halibut special was perfect. Nice and flaky and fresh and came with a delicious roasted red pepper sauce. The service was very good and the ambiance is lovely. Probably one of the best local restaurants I've been to. read more

Staff is very welcoming and nice! The food is absolutely incredible, definitely made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere felt calm and inviting! This isn't our first time coming here and it definitely won't be the last time! I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for affordable, delicious meal!
