We were making our way from Fort Worth to Branson, and were about to pass through Eufaula when we decided to stop for lunch. My husband showed me a photo of the pizza and said, "How's this look?" "Looks good!" Eufaula is a nice little town with restaurants, shops, and typical small town businesses. There's even a Eufaula Museum across from Mama Tigs. We sat at the window facing the street. The table was made from a slice of a tree with the bark visible, but it was shellacked, of course. There were about a dozen options for pizza or you could create your own. There were some other menu options but we were there for the pizza. We chose number 5 ("The Erin") which had sliced meatballs and fire-roasted peppers (sweet not spicy). SO GOOD!! It reminded me of pizza we get from a Brooklyn Italian family-owned restaurant in our small town of Haslet. The cheese and the crust... We also got a side salad with house made ranch. This side salad had leafy mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, radishes (which my husband loved!), shredded carrots, and grape tomatoes. We almost missed dessert but decided to get a cannoli. It was delicious as well. Everything was simple and so tasty. The owner, or who I assume was the owner, was serving another table and asked if they were passing through. They live in Northwest Arkansas and Mama Tigs is their usual lunch spot (there are a few other locations). The owner said most people are visiting the nearby lake or passing through to Branson, when I said "That's what we're doing." We chatted a bit more with the owner and discovered they had lived in DFW at one time. Small world. Great place! Friendly staff! Excellent, wood-fired pizza! Be sure to stop in. It's far better than a drive-thru burger. (I didn't think to get photos of the food. I was focused on enjoying it.) read more

Drove through town on our way home from vacation, first time experience. Accidentally called a different location and had to cancel and reorder at this location. Cute little place, fast friendly service and decent pizza. Would go back if I'm ever in the area again. Crust was super thin, nice amount of toppings. Next time would ask for crispy! They should also think to add a changing table in the bathroom. I understand the bathroom is small but still frustrating not having an area to change a dirty diaper! read more

Good food service and atmosphere. Love it all. What ticks me off is about every time I go in the point system changes. I've talked to managers about this. Sometimes it's 1 point per dollar. Another time it's $10 per point or $15 per point. This is how you punish behavior with "rewards". I'm a psychologist and I know what I'm talking about. Punish me much more and I'll quit coming in. While driving through Eufaula we wanted to have pizza. Drove by this place and decided to stop. Have to say we're happy we did. Very clean and friendly. My husband and I are over-the-road truck drivers, we are fortunate to, try food across the country. We ordered the barbecue chicken, bruschetta pizza, peanut butter, pie and chocolate cream pie. The pizza was perfectly crispy and doughy thus far the best oven pizza we have tried. The pies were not overly sweet and flavors were nicely balanced. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. Highly recommend and definitely will be back. read more

When in Rome, eat Mama Tigs! We spent a few days at Carlton Landing and this place became highly recommended. So of course the pizza lover in my had to stop in. The wait was a bit long and the pies were a little on the pricey side. But definitely worth it. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the pizza was super yummy. We moved from Vegas, NV and this was the best pizza we have found in the two locations. The pizza is well worth the price. We ate a pepperoni pizza and a Westbrook Pizza. We will definitely eat here again. read more

Amazing. Stopped by heading home to Texas from Grand Lake. I'm so glad we over-ordered. Leftovers! We got the #8 (Peperoni) and the special, a bacon, apple, bbq sauce, and cheese. Both were delicious. The #8 was the perfect comfort food with the perfect amount of cheese on an amazing crust. Parking a huge trailer around the corner wasn't an issue, either! This place gave me food poisoning. It was the mushrooms because they were slimy and didn't taste right so I picked what was left of my pizza and tried to eat another slice, but it just tasted really yucky so I stopped eating. It was the only place I had eaten that day and I ate at noon. I couldn't eat anything else for the rest of the day, night and next day. This experience was my first and last at this establishment. By the time 5pm rolled around I was deathly sick. The service was great! Her name was Johnna, I remember cause her name was kinda unique and she was very sweet. She should definitely get a raise. We found this spot on our way back to Texas. The owners stopped to talk to us and the pizza and cheese sticks were excellent. If you are local or just driving by on the freeway definately stop and try it out. BTW the decor is fabulous and very comfortable. It might be BYOB but you would need to call and ask. Very good! Someone actually recommended Mama Tigs to us, and she said they made the "best pizza ever"! My son got a pizza that was stacked with toppings! He ate the whole thing! My husband got the Italian nachos, and ate every bit of them. I got a calzone that was delicious. It didn't have ricotta cheese in it, which was disappointing, but it was still very good! Took a little Saturday ride out with the wife. We decided to stop at this little wood fired pie shop for a quick bite. We both were impressed with the modern layout of this little place. The woodwork on the tables was awesome. I like the live edge tabletops. We were greeted when we walked in and staff were very friendly and helpful with questions asked. Ok enough about service and ambiance, which was a five out of five for both. Onto the pie. We ordered a 10" cheesy bread and a 14" Margherita pizza pie. I know what you're thinking, and yea, we took plenty home. Both were absolutely the best in this area. We've eaten in no less than every pizza shop in Pittsburg, Latimer, and McIntosh county. I would say that this little pie shop beats them all! If you're in the area and find yourself looking for a good bite. I recommend stopping in and enjoying a great slice from this wood fired pizza shop. We'll be back! read more

Pizza was great. We had a thin crust pie that was supposed to have ghost pepper cheese but we weren't brave enough and switched it out for regular mozz. It was amazing. Service was great, waitress was super nice. read more

We had the "Ashley" and the "Bruschetta." Both were completely delicious! The tomatoes on the Bruschetta were placed after the pizza was cooked so their coolness was a surprise but it was perfect, just like bruschetta! Good quality ingredients. We hope to try the Margherita next time we come through. People seemed nice, pleasant atmosphere.
