The owner, Matt, a Minnesota transplant, was very helpful when I ask for dining and attraction suggestions.

That led to us having more time in Barcelona so as we walked around we found the museum of history for Catalonia. After an hour at the museum, our stomachs said it was lunch time. We decided to walk around and find something and this place was right next door! We were SO happy to find a brewery with American comfort/Asian comfort food. We fell in love with their brut IPA & their Asian ribs and dumplings. We got a flight to try their various craft beers. I was too full to order the ramen but it looked delicious! Live music on Saturdays and an outdoor patio. The vibe is California chill & hipster with great music and seating spaces inside. We had a great time talking to the staff that were super attentive. Unique and delicious craft brews! Amazing food! Exceptional service! We left with a t shirt, beer glasses & great memories to take back to California!

But since then, the business has closed the right-hand set and you have to wend your way through the whole place to get to the butcher. This business has taken over two joined storefronts, so the interior floor plan is a little complicated. But if you can't find something, they are happy to help. For example: I was out of Sichuan peppercorns, but could not find them in the store (it is chockablock and crammed with goods). I asked and the guy produced the red ones in seconds. Then I asked about the green ones, which I had NEVER been able to find. I went home with both kinds. They have all the sauces and dried goods and working butchers and even a big kitchenware section. If you know your Chinese food, here is where you stock your pantry. As always, props to Chef Rhoda Yee for teaching me how to use all these wonderful foods.

They have just about everything for Chinese food, but you will only find the basic Korean & Japanese and other Asian food items.. Don't have any expectations for anything else! The produce sections was small but full of mostly fresh Asian vegetables and herbs. You can also get meat from a fresh(?) butcher area which is in the back of the store. There are also many types of cooking wares, plates, utensils, and also several rice cookers to choose from. Prices were a bit higher than expected. I don't think I'll be back as there are other asian grocery stores in the city with a better variety.

If you're Catalan and you're looking for food that you can only find in America this is also your deal. Great selection of Candy (like Nerds and Reese's) along with special holiday items, and cake mixes, baking supplies, barbecue sauce, chocolate chips, baking pans, pastries, sodas, tortilla chips, maple syrup, etc. The people at the counter are pretty nice, which is good. The food is a little expensive, but being imported there's not much you can change about that. In a really nice neighborhood, on a pretty busy street, right near the ferrocarrils, so it's pretty simple to get here. Awesome stop!
