I was referred to this office by my general doctor after suffering two years of all kinds of horrible symptoms. I remember coming to my first appointment and just being exhausted and ready for another doctor to tell me that they couldn't find anything wrong. Dr. Foltz really listened to me and took all of my symptoms seriously. He very quickly and efficiently determined what the problem was and within weeks I was getting better. I am so grateful to still be under his care to manage my symptoms going forward. Every time I see him and his staff, I feel so well cared for. He really listens and remembers things from past conversations which solidifies that he really was listening as intently as he seemed. He does a great job at making you feel like he really cares about you as an individual. Even though I'm sure he's always has lots of patients waiting for him, he's never made me feel rushed. I have a lot of anxiety, and going to doctors appointments is very anxiety producing for me. The care I received here makes all the difference! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, appointments have been virtual. It's actually worked out quite well and I feel as equally good about the care.

Tucked away, this location is a bit hidden in the streets behind Ralph's in Mission Valley. The building has dedicated parking, a small lot with tight parking spaces. They have other clinics here as well if you're a Scripps patient. The lab is located on the second floor, down a hallway, a doorway that is hidden in the middle. Not easy to find except for the flag up high saying LAB. One time I tried to get my labs done late into evening. Their hours are till 7pm, which I thought, great, I don't have to take time out of my day and get it done after work. Get there at 6:30, doors are locked and no one is to be found anywhere. Not inside the lab, not outside the lab, only except the cleaning lady in the hallway. So after just standing around figuring out why the lab is closed... with signs stating open until 7 pm. To me that means the door should be open until 7 pm with someone there to draw labs. Almost 10 minutes later, I finally I see an employee person run out into the hallway and I yell out. Hi, can you help me? Is there someone supposed to be in the lab?!? The doors are locked!?! She looked surprised and came my way. I asked, do they close early? Sign says till 7 pm. She responded, there should be someone there, let me find them. Hooray, she was able to get into the lab and find someone in the back! Unfortunately it was still not good news for me. He came out grumpily and said I couldn't get labs drawn. I asked why, he said that he needed to be done and gone by 7. I said ok, it's not 7. Your sign says open until 7 pm. Doors were locked... We argued for another 5-10 minutes for the reasoning of why even have a sign if you lock the doors well before 7 pm. He stated he needed to get all these things done before 7 pm so HE can leave at 7. Again, I told him that's not my problem. Your sign says open until 7pm. I should be able to come in up until 7 pm and be helped. He finally gave me a slip to fill out. Pulled up my labs and said nope! I can't get them drawn. I said WHY?!?! He said he would have to draw, then wait X amount of time, put it in the machine and wait X amount more time. He wouldn't be done by 7 pm. It was already almost 6:50 now! OMG, that is my problem HOW?!?!? We told him, we've been here since 6:30 outside knocking... another sign on the door that has incorrect info says to do so if the doors are closed. He just looked at me blankly and said I dunno and we grabbed the sign and handed it to him. He said it was for lunchtime and was not correct anyways. More bad info!?! He pretty much said next I couldn't get my labs done that evening and I had to come back the next day and 12 hours after taking my medication. Really?!? Another tidbit of info I was not aware of!?! And that he can schedule an appt for me the next day. That's it. Horrible service! Wrong info! A useless sign of operating hours! Why even post that if the staff lock the doors way before that time?!? WHY?!? Waste of time. Arguing back and forth. A big giant headache with an extra side of frustration. I dragged my poor hubs along for this ridiculousness because we were going to grab dinner after. A couple days later got a call from a lady calling to apologize for the situation and confusion. The staff that was there that night was new and confused and didn't know he COULD draw my labs and was supposed to have the doors open and unlocked until 7 pm. I did get his manager's info that evening but never bother calling cause I didn't want to waste even more time I'm never going to be able to recover going round and round in circles trying to make nonsense of a sign that was clear to me yet services were still not rendered. He also has his PA Debbie Fergozo who assist him with his patients. She listens and addresses my concerns. I have seen a couple of NP's in the office too and they are good too. Dr Cohen I have had the pleasure to see and he was nice and addressed my issue at the time. I recommend for Your needs. They have in person and video appointments available. Just depends which provider is available but I always get seen same day.

If you would like to do a delayed vaccine schedule be prepared to be shamed by every single pediatrician you see here. They are not open minded and they are as conventional as it can get. We saw Dr Meyer, Dr Cohen and Amianne Huffman and Dr Monsoor (my least favorite) for different visits. I wanted to see if the experience was different based on the provider... all the same disappointing experience. Keep in mind all they have are vaccines and drugs. There's nothing else they can offer you here. Sorry to be mean, but they're like robots. My one exception is Natalie Crawford. She was actually great with my kid. I felt like she actually listened and I wasn't shamed. She was respectful. It felt collaborative. But she only sees age 6 and up so I wasn't able to bring my new baby to her as much as I wanted to. And I do want to mention that Dr Meyer did do a good circumcision for my baby boy. All in all, If you want to find a pediatrician for your child 5 yrs and under who will work with you if you want to do a delayed schedule and space apart the vaccines, keep looking. There are a ton of good pediatricians out there in San Diego, just do your research.

These are recommendations which have been recently suggested, phone-based calls on Molina Healthcare public phone number, several transfers, suggested phone numbers, ALL for nothing! Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!!
