My move out order has not been processed and I've made many attempts to contact the location, I've…read morespoken with someone on the customer service line and live chat and still can't get confirmation that I will not be charged for another month. I've documented the condition of unit upon my leaving and each attempt to contact management showing that i not only left unit in proper condition but also exhausted all means by which to contact the location and rectify the situation. I will also be making a formal complaint about the mishandling of this establishment. There have been numerous issues from the date I moved in. Upon arrival the unit I reserved had someone else's belongings stored so I was moved to a different unit. Then the lady taking my reservation and payment argued with me about the free lock I was promised and wasn't until i found the email and showed her did she allow me to retrieve said lock. Then while attempting to move in my belongings there were products (boxes, packaging items etc) covering the entire floor and making it extremely difficult to even walk through the store much less carry large boxes or items to the unit. Then yesterday as I'm removing my items, I returned after dropping off a previous load, to find the door locked at 6pm when the door clearly displayed closing at 7pm. Now I've been waiting for more than 24 hrs just to have my move out processed and haven't spoken with a single person who could or even acted as if they wanted to help me. I will not ever use this company again.

I get an update a day or two later stating that my reservation has been changed to another location in a different town. So I edited my reservation to a more convenient location in town only to find out the day I am moving that this location is closed on Saturday! I understand businesses change their hours for a host of reasons so I contacted what I thought was the actual office of the original location I wanted to rent from and scheduled to pick up a trailer on Tuesday, June 6th. The day of, I even contacted what I thought was the location to inform them I was running approximately 20 minutes late. The lady I spoke with, Rebecca, was very nice and updated the information for me. My husband and I arrive at the location to find out that the trailer we reserved is not available (this is after my husband spent approximately 20 minutes inside while they tried to find our reservation). Not only is it not available but the only trailer available is too large for our truck to haul (and more than twice the price which seemed purposeful). Not only that but the trailers are one way, meaning I would have to drop it off at the same location. I questioned the lady at the UHaul location why I was allowed to make a reservation for something they not only never have but that I can't drop off where I live which is an hour and a half away after contacting the store. She informed me that even when I thought I was contacting the store, it took me to a call service and they don't check to see what they have, they just make reservations. If this is the case, it is a terrible business practice. As if moving isn't stressful enough, I was completely frustrated yesterday as a result of this company. I will never use UHaul for any of my moving needs. I won't even buy boxes from this company! And I have made it a point to tell everyone I know not to as well.

Since the time I booked the service, they advised me on what was needed and made recommendations that were helpful. They pulled in family when a worker couldn't make it due to illness. They treated my things with care, were respectful, and told me in advance if something would be an additional charge. They thoroughly worked hard and completed the project on time. A great team. They were worth every penny.
