Freedman's expertise, personable nature, AND the fact that he's a great painter (his artwork is on the office walls - pretty rad).

Let me be the first to say that I am the type of person to see one bad review and steer clear of a…read moreplace, I know the value of even a stranger's recommendations. Right before the holidays I had an emergency root canal done at a different dental office. Four months later I was in excruciating pain. I was recommended to Dr. Luciano at the Manchester office. To make a long story short my previous Dentist did not perform the surgery correctly and we needed to redo the root canal. Dr. Luciano, Gigi, and their team provided a level of service that completely exceeded my expectations, and more importantly they save my severely damaged tooth. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was given a prescription for antibiotics, my pharmacist would not fill it, said the dentist was not licensed to order meds . I had been suspicious of the dental group as the office was not clean, I was told they have14 offices and don't accept too many dental insurances. With all this information I am concerned if any of these "dentists" are even qualified to practice dentistry ,why are they not licensed to write scripts ? I think they need to be inspected by the health Department. My opinion is find another dental practice, this group has questionable practices.

I'm sharing this because, as a diabetic, I felt my health was put at serious risk here. While the…read morehygienist is wonderful and Dr. Maldonado was quick with my wisdom teeth extractions, the follow-up care was a nightmare. They performed my extractions after I had been on antibiotics for only one day, which wasn't enough time to clear the infection. As a result, my face became extremely inflamed. Despite knowing I am diabetic and at higher risk, Dr. Dental refused to let me come in for emergency care. I had to go to an oral surgeon in Meriden, CT who, with the help of her assistant, had to painfully drain a very large abscess. Additionally, I had a root canal on tooth #30 that was done improperly. I've had a large hole in that tooth since May 2025. When the filling broke, the office told me to buy a temporary fill from CVS or Walgreens to avoid me coming back. Because they delayed treating other cavities, I now need more root canals due to nerve damage. This office (specifically Spencer St, Manchester CT) is a "mill" that overbooks for financial gain. They are greedy and dismissive of patient safety. Please do your research and believe the low ratings--your health isn't worth the risk.

I got there, there was no paperwork for me to fill out so I wait...not 5 not 10 minutes but 20 minutes, just to go and sit in one of the rooms for another 20 minutes. Then a nurse comes in and doesn't say anything, just swabs my gums then proceeds to inject my gums without any warning or anything. Now I have to wait even longer for the numbing to set in...my face is numb yet I am still here waiting for a filing. Mind you, I am one of the 3 patients in the office. 12:30 comes around and I am STILL waiting for my filling. shut this place DOWN!

I really have liked this place, but the last few visits have left an uneasy feeling in me. I got a…read moreroot canal done recently and had been informed that it was necessary since my tooth failed the diagnostic cold test (even though it wasn't even hurting anymore). They were even able to take care of it the day of, but I hadn't realized that they would be essentially destroying my tooth into a nub. At the time, I felt like it made no difference to get a second opinion or not and it had felt like it would be an urgent issue to not treat it at the moment, so I said sure. They had informed me that they would bill my insurance and I knew my insurance was supposed to cover it up to 50%. Well, come to find out that it's pretty standard for insurance to require a certain percentage of damage to have occurred before they're willing to cover it. I was very upset to find out that my insurance had a separate opinion say it wasn't damaged enough and that I had to pay the bill in full. The financial consultant at the dentist's informed me that this was common and that they had in fact already appealed twice (without my knowledge). I was not very happy to find out that not only did they know that this could have been an issue with my insurance and fail to inform me prior to my procedure (in which case I probably would have asked them to check with my insurance for coverage BEFORE getting the procedure done), but also that because they had already appealed without my knowledge, I had less power to have a say in the case, such as providing information relevant to my specific policy, which in fact does NOT mention any sort of percentage of damage required. As much as I have enjoyed their care up to date, I was very disappointed in how my care was managed in this particular situation and it has definitely affected how much I trust my service with them in the future. While I recommend them for general care, I would be wary to some degree and seek a second opinion before getting involved in a major oral procedure.

Lied to, manipulated, fraudulently submitted insurance approvals on my behalf without my consent,…read more and the list goes on, I have all the proof I need to show this abomination of malprapractices. Signature smiles have fallen embarrasingly short when it comes to their legal and ethical obligations to their duty of care to their patients. This is my last attempt to seek a civil resolution from the owners Dr. Sharma and Dr. Ranji for the work Dr. Brown performed, knowing that I was not going to be approved for a crown to begin with, destroying my teeth..as Stevie Wonder could see clearly. There is soooo much more that I'm leaving out due to the fact that this may have to go into civil and/or criminal aspects. I am simply asking for the help I originally came in for and to fix all of the mistakes made while under the care of signature smiles. I need my mouth unfucked now!! I am done being patient and polite, this is completely irresponsible by ones who call themselves professionals and I have been bullshitted since the first time they said they submitted for my crowns and never did(have proof of that too)! Ball is in your court, Drs.... my mouth isn't going anywhere, and neither are your ethical and legal obligations or your duty of care you signed up for. Hope to hear from your office soon, and I will most definitely see you in court if not. Thank you.
