Take I-390 south to Rush and follow 15A south along Hemlock Lake. After passing Johnson Hill Road, Reynold's Gully will be a mile down on your left. This is a really lovely park... plenty of open space for playing games on the grass, getting some…read moresun, and also a pavilion or two for larger groups that want some cover & picnic tables. in the lower area, there's a very short little pathway by the water... there were kids playing and exploring the water, and someone else was fly fishing. On the upper portion of the park is the actual walking trail, which is a really well worn out path and very easy to walk (though I wouldn't consider it accessible to those in wheelchairs, etc). There isn't really anything to *see* at the end... it just kind of ends... but then you turn around and walk back. Honestly, my dog was more than happy to explore the entirety either way. :) I do have to remove one star because their bathroom facilities aren't great. At the time of my visit, the women's restroom was completely clogged - and the men's room was basically a single stall. :-/ TL;DR Really enjoyable park and I'll definitely be back in the future.

You follow the trail and you can climb up the falls l, but they are slippery and there are no ropes anymore. The second entrance is in for of 245 a small pull off with a small management sign and you can see the gate down a dirt road. There is a parking lot, or you can just park off the road if you don't have a vehicle that can make it down the road. You will start in the woods and follow the trees marked with yellow and blue. It goes right and switch backs around to a bridge. Now you can cross the bridge and take that trail or you can follow the creek bed to a falls with a small pool. Again very steep and slippery be careful. I would not suggest this hike for small children. Love this hike, but it is hard. It was also very buggy. Lots of salamanders, millipedes, and beautiful falls.

There are 4 different trails you can hike if you feel up to it but we recommend the Gorge Trail & East Rim Trail. This loop can be difficult on the knees with all the steps and unbalanced areas. Absolutely beautiful park and afterwards you can swim in the clear cold water. We had a blast and was a highlight of our trip.

We did the gorge trail; filled with beautiful rocks, wonderful waterfalls small and big & the greenery. Be prepared to take a few stairs. (On the way and back). When we reached the end of the trail we were a little lost as it isn't a complete loop. We took the west elm trail back which was more woodsy than the first one. This is a peaceful place and camping would be lovely here (there's campgrounds.) aside from wild birds, we did encounter a rabid groundhog that was going in circles, so be wary (I mean this is the case for all wildlife parks!) Bonus, the bathrooms are super clean, probably the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed.

I haven't had to leave a subpar rating in so long!…read more We came here for the trail, because the photos we found online looked beautiful. It's about 2 miles long and sounded like a perfect fit! We were sorely disappointed. At first I wasn't even sure that the trail WAS the trail. There was a sign clearly pointing it out, but the beginning was rocky, severely uneven, and overgrown. Okay! No problem. Maybe it was just a rough start? So we pushed on. But it got worse. You can tell that the land is often swampy, because they had a makeshift "boardwalk" laid out near the water. So mushy ground wasn't a problem. But the overgrowth got so bad that we opted to turn back after only about 10 minutes of walking. (See photos!) Based on our experience I would NOT recommend the trail, because it is not well maintained. But I did snap a picture of the lodge and the pavilion on the way out, and those seemed nice. So I gave it 2 stars for that!

It was about 5 miles long and had wonderful views. It has beautiful bridges and walking paths so you weren't walking in mud. Lots of nature views! Some of the trail goes behind some houses but it isn't terrible and is for a short stretch of the hike. The dogs absolutely love it. There are even sections were you can go up to the canal and the dogs can go swimming. Definitely coming back here sometime soon.

We just guessed and went upstream based on other reviews we had read. If you go, water shoes might be best and plan on walking up the stream. If no water shoes, don't go after rains - it will be too muddy to make much of the walk and parts of the trail will be covered. Even on the best days you're doing some creek crossing at the waterfalls etc. long story short your feet will likely get wet here. All that said it offers wonderful views of a few waterfalls and a beautiful walk through a gorge. Definitely worth the trip!
